Ebay no investment method

It works best if you buy in US and sell again in Europe. The prices there are higher to start with and you got the exchange rate working for you. But be aware - international transaction do attract scamming filthy buyers and not all shipping services provide working tracking numbers. Good site in Europe to sell is Germany - not really a need to speak the lingo - they will understand a bargain. Do some research and find good selling items that are lightweight and small.

Like dawgtown said: Better to make a few bucks profit on each item and sell many of them. It's safer that way, too. Not to much to lose if you do run into a scammer.

Noooooope, never trade with Germany!

They have additional import taxes to protect their economy from outside lowbudget trading.. and they can make that up as they go! For example, If I buy a mobile phone and I import it to Germany, where they have the same model only pricier.. they then add import tax, sales tax etc AND the additional protection tax and suddenly you're paying more for the imported one than you would pay for the one you bought in Germany!! Normally, I'd say "not my problem, the client has to pay for that" BUT it will be stuck in customs until the sum is payed, which gets you a bad rep on ebay or where ever you're selling stuff.

Wont work 99% of the time because most ebay sellers require items to be shipped to the verified paypal address only. Lucky to find someone who will do this. Lots of hours of work only to get a negative if the item does not show up etc.
Not worth the hassle.

Im from germany and this is so true! Tried this method a few times with local special-offers and it works but it's almost impossible to get a margin if you want to import - 3 of 5 packages from non EU will be opened and checked, 1-3 weeks later the buyer receives a letter and when he picks it up he has to pay the extra costs... If anyone knows (or is) a dropshipper/seller who has experience with germany and can provide a interesting margin: just PM ME NOW :-)

this only works if you have money to start. The op created this in 2012 so a lot has changed.

You need enough money to buy the item as Paypal will hold the funds, so you wont be able to use the ebay payment to purchase the item (unless you have an established ebay account)

But apart from that it's a good solid method that will always work (IE Buy Low, Sell High)

not really, as some1 else said, just put your own paypal invoice link in the desc+your mail, or simply your mail, and then give them your paypal adress. do it a few times and then when you got your own $$ just do it the normal way.

Well this method does work. I did not try eBay->eBay yet, but Amazon->eBay.
When Minecraft was available as a pre order for Xbox on Amazon, I simply listed this on eBay. If somebody bought from me, I just ordered from Amazon. So when the game was released, they got their games directly from Amazon. There was no invoice enclosed (gift), and also only 1 person asked my why it comes from Amazon. I told him I also sell there and use FBA and so I had this shipped directly to him by Fedex for free, if I shipped this myself from eBay he would have to pay for this, I only would have used USPS for free. So he was very happy and left amazing feedback. Like all the others too.

Only thing, I do not know what to sell now as it has to be an item that a. is NOT available on eBay or b. IS available on eBay but for a higher price than on Amazon. And this is quite hard to find.

What you on about?. If you have a new account and sell on ebay they will hold the funds for 21 days or until positive feedback has been left.

You wont be able to use the customers funds to order from your dropshipper. Therefore you need your own cash FIRST to order the item and send it to the customer, when he leaves feedback your funds will be released to you.

The transaction has to be done via Ebay who use your linked Paypal. You can't just email them and say "send me the money, You can trust me ... honest" with zero feedback.

Actually they are both equal, it's just that canadian dollar is .04 higher than US dollar. but prices are the same during conversion. Nice great share!. ^_^

Plausible idea so I tested it using the item you mentioned Canon rebel t31 I think it worked out to be. I realize this post is getting older so first off I did not find a button that lead me to canada. Even ebay says its there underneath a button they no longer have on there site? No biggie. google ebay canada, click link, same login. Compared 10 ways to sunday and the only price difference was that you must convert the currency (easy). Then you notice there is no difference at all. The problem, sellers from USA and Hong Kong have invaded.

So I tried again looking under best sellers on the ebay electronics home page (USA) as canada goes straight to listings. Picked out a nice $1,500 Lenovo thinkpad X1 Carbon thinking surely their must be $100 of play here. Same thing.

So I am lead to believe, that this market gap (at least for the time being) is closed.

I would like to know the market conditions that might favor this method as I thought it was an excellent idea. Just like currency trading, anything that has to do with crossing borders is usually a limited time only proposition.

Are there items that aren't so oversaturated with American & Asian suppliers that I don't know about?
Thanks

Today am going to talk about how You can make $100 using Ebay in an hour.
This type of trade is known as Arbitrage.

Requirements.
1. Computer.
2. Internet Connection.
3. Must be over 18.

You will not require.
1. Money.
2. Experience.

So let's get going.

Step No 1
Sign up for a free Ebay account. You will be asked how you would like to be paid and here you will put your Paypal Address or You debit/credit card details. Don't worry you will not be charged anything. I use Paypal and its quite good. If you dont have a Paypal account please sign up for one which is also free.

Step No 2.
Login to your account and you will receive a welcome email on all what Ebay is about. Please read this mail then continue. On the Screen you will see the leading auctions and here is where you have to put your focus.
The item on leading auction is the item that is going to be selling fast on Ebay. Now open another Ebay window such that you have two ebay windows open. On one choose Ebay Canada this option is normally at the bottom left. On the other window will be Ebay USA by default if not please choose Ebay USA.

Step No 3.
Search for the item that was leading, in both windows. With my experience, I have noted that Canon Rebel Professional Cameras sell fast. You wiil note that prices on Ebay Canada are Lower than prices on Ebay USA and thats how You are going to make Money. Normally there is about $150 difference.

Step No 4.
Identify that item, for our example the Rebel Camera and put into list, on Ebay Canada, don't buy. (Tip- Choose the supplier who has many in store). Now go to Ebay USA and put an Auction add about selling a rebel camera at a price less than the Quoted price on Ebay USA. Include all the specification of the Camera and a good picture of the same, now all these you can get on Amazon for Free. Put the item on the auction for 2 - 3 days.

Step No 5
Check the bids on the item after 2 days. The highest bidder has won the Auction, check your Paypal Account to ensure you have received the money.

Step No 6
Go to Ebay Canada and buy the Item you had kept on list, and direct the shipment to the person who you sold your Camera to.

And Boom This is how you make your Cool $100.

This method has two huge obstacles that can result in failure.

1. Since their eBay account is new when they sell the camera or item they are selling the PayPal account they are using most likely
will hold the money until a tracking number is given and delivery is confirmed. So where are they going to get the money to buy
the item before they get the money released from PayPal?

2. If something happens where the item you purchased is bogus or there is a problem then you have a customer who paid for an
item you cannot deliver and your money is locked up in a dispute with the person you bought it from. AKA a disaster.

Does this method work? Yes. But to do it right you need the cash to first buy the item. Never sell items you do not have in stock
unless you are prepared for BS to flow your way.

This method have some success to it. However some of the seller (your supplier) will not ship to unverified paypal address on the
high margin items
