Has anyone else bought the eBay Magic course from Matt & Amanda Clarkson, if so what are your views on this course as I am soooo disappointed?

I purchased the ebay magic course, which is supposed to show you how to set up a home business on ebay. I got their VERY EXPENSIVE program expecting something amazing, and boy what rubbish... common sense would have served me better, as I went through it, I felt like I've just thrown my money down the toilet. very, very dissapointed.

I unfortunately went to one of Matt & Amanda's seminars and got excited by the whole thing signing up on the night, paying 9 monthly payments of $500... $4500!!

When the package arrived, I pulled out the Dvd's & 2 big folders and began reading the first manual a folder 2inches thick... it took me less than 10 minutes to read through it as the info in it was basically an overview of ebay & the type of businesses you can run on ebay... total bullshit!

They even had the nerve to say if you want to operate this type of ebay business, buy a certain book from amazon which tells you how to do it!... the whole course is HYPE, SMOKE & MIRRORS!

I was so disappointed, I new immediately that I'd been hoodwinked & phoned them up to get my money back... as I expected it was a no go!... they say it's a contract!

At first I figured I was stuffed and every month $500 came out of my account... in the end sick to my stomach, I decided to stop my card and take it to fair trading... so it would be good to hear other peoples comments & experiences regarding this course!

WARNING - DO NOT BUY THE EBAY MAGIC COURSE!!

Unless you like HYPE!... there are so many other good courses around!... I've bought many courses over the years and this has to be the biggest rip off courses I ever come across!!

I don't know why someone would pay for a $1000+ course; chargeback on your credit card, and save your money. The real information for how to make money on eBay is right on forums like BHW. There's everything you need hear to start making your first couple of dollars.

Your absolutely right Donor... especially after seeing the ebay magic course. I got caught up with all the hype on the night & I'm more angry at myself for signing up for the course!... you really could get twice if not more info on youtube let alone here.

I've been asked to upload the course to BHW... I'd love to do that, but what they done is filled the course up with so much fluff & hot air, that it still wouldn't be worth spending your time listening to or watching the course!!...

It's a classical case of "The Emperors Clothes" they most likely had a good course at one stage, but maybe got caught up in the money "funnel" idea, watered down the course so they could integrate the membership site & coaching.

It's basically setup to drain as much money out of an individual as possible, without adding value!

I'm talking to Fairtrading at the moment, and it looks like it'll go to court... so I'm appealing for anyone with similar experiences to write it down & send their complaint to "ebaymagiccomplaints(at)gmail(dot)com" hopefully we can stop them ripping off others.

I don't believe Matt & Amanda are horrible people, I just think that all the making money thing has gone to their head & they've lost their focus, focusing on making money for them & not for their customers.

Cheers

I agree... I got done by them and then found most of the information they sell free at other forums or with $30 courses. They have 1000s of complaints about them and then hide all the complains buy registering BIDDINGBUZZSCAM com web site and writing many FAKE reviews in eBay?s Guides and Reviews section on their site with spam key words like bidding buzz scam, matt and amanda clarkson scammers etc. which has to be against eBay?s rules. They make their ?Millions? form selling $4000 & $20000 packages to about 200 suckers each year and do not make it from their eBay stores, this is a lie as the numbers don?t add up. They are scammers, charlatans, leaches and criminals that use the eBay name to giver them creditability and cover. They must be stopped by someone as these eBay get rich quick systems that these snake oil sales people push are a total rip off.
In the seminar they bring in heaps of people to motivate you and a hypnotist to mind wash you to buy all their books and dvds and then tell you about all their bad days of failure and how happy and rich they are now because of eBay and then get others to tell of their sob stories and hard times. IT?S SO TYPICAL OF THESE TYPE OF BRAIN WASHING 3 DAY SEMINARS, THEY?RE ALL THE SAME! Then they bring in the stories about your big future of money and glory and all your dreams coming true, give you a few eBay tips that you could get out of a $30 course and then sell you their $20,000 course! ALL BULLSHIT, MIRRORS and LIES ? DON?T DO IT!

Bidding Buzz and it's founders, Matt and Amanda Clarkson, are not what they seem and you may wan to know what you are getting into when you but a ‘How to get Rich' program from them. They have a set program of mind washing and programing to make you buy their $3,995.00 course or their $20,000 course but they know that most that buy will never make more than a few dollars on eBay. Many have complained and requested refunds but those complaints are not addressed and no refunds are ever given.

They have made $8 million from seeling these programs and not from selling products on eBay. They use a structured step by step technique that makes people feel like they have all the answers and they can help you live your dreams. This is false, they do not have all the answers, they can not help you live your dreams and they make millions from selling ‘How to get rich quick' courses to people like you. How you make millions on eBay is to copy what they are doing and sell your own ‘How to get rich on eBay' program as 98% of people will fail at setting up a profitable long term business selling products on eBay unless you are already an established business with a product to sell. Yes you can sell products and make some money but 98% of all people that buy these types of courses do not create profitable long term business selling products on eBay.

Bidding Buzz sell a few products on eBay but their staff run the stores, not them, as they are busy selling their how to get rich programs to people like you. They turned over $108,000 in the last 90 days with one of their products but it cost them $80,000 in expenses + staff to run it and the same with their other items on eBay. They have NOT become millionaires from selling products on eBay, they have become millionaires from selling how to get rich programs and courses and use the eBay name to provide credibility and confidence.

When they sell eBay how to get rich books and manuals on eBay they are a lead generation system where they are immediately sold the $3,995.00 eBay Magic program and then a few weeks later given a free 3 day workshop/seminar ticket where they are sold a bunch more motivational manuals and dvds and then a few days after the seminar are called and sold the $20,000 ‘Guaranteed to be an eBay Millionaire' package. During these types of seminars the system follows a well worn path proven in the U.S. and all over the world as a winner when it comes to making sales on big ticket items that sell a 'dream'. We won't cover it here but the entire 3 day workshop is a mind washing camp where you are sold a lie and with Matt and Amanda Clarkson we even see in one of their facebook pictures 'hypnotist lights' on their stage facing out at the audience, you can see for yourself. We are not sure if they work or not but the point is that they use them and a system that breaks everyone down to their failures and then lifts them up with some technical and motivational insights before selling the solution to all their needs, wants and dreams. These insidious systems are only used by the most devious of people that seek to make money from those that only have a little in the first place and wish to better themselves and their lives.

Unless you do everything exactly as in the courses, and keep detailed records including video, then you will not get a refund let alone a double your money back refund when you fail and the program doesn't work for you. There are built in steps to these systems that nobody does so when you ask for a refund they can say well you didn't do this thing & that thing so no refund.

Currently Bidding Buzz use eBay Guides and Reviews section to post articles on themselves explaining why they are not responsible for any complaints against them and that those complaining about them are false complaints. They are using key word spamming techniques to drown out the complaints against them by using the eBay reviews.ebay.co.uk › Buy › Reviews & Guides section of the eBay site where Bidding Buzz and the Clarkson's have literally written 5 Reviews themselves, - Bidding Buzz Scam - Bidding Buzz Review - Avoid Bidding Buzz Scam Blogs - Matt And Amanda Clarkson Scam - Bidding Buzz Scam Blog, and used all the key word tags like bidding buzz scam | bidding buzz review | ebay magic scam | matt & amanda clarkson scam | ebay magic | bidding buzz scam blog | matt clarkson | bidding buzz complaint | bidding buzz scam review | matt and amanda clarkson scam | bidding buzz blog review | amanda clarkson | bidding buzz complaints | ebay scam, to rank high on Google. This is against eBay policy and It's unfair to the public that they should use the eBay Reviews and Guides section get high rankings on Google and unfairly manipulate those rankings with false & duplicated information and tags so they can hide the truth. The also own the site biddingbuzzscam to help redirect traffic and hide the truth.

Unless Bidding Buzz show you proof of their claims and give you the phone numbers of the hundreds of people they claim to have helped make of fortune on eBay then you may want to consider your options before dealing with the company and the Clarksons. You have been warned.

There is plenty of free information out there, look around.

Cheers for the tip off Ezylife you saved me from wasting my time at their event in Melbourne. I've fallen for something similar in the past so I feel for your loss.

I was researching their book and came across your post. They are holding an event all around Australia and I really hope people do not waste their money. They are even giving away an expensive holiday to get people to sign up.

Message me for their website with the event dates held this month! If you are around, please drop by and warn everyone not to sign up! I really do not like scammers who take people's hard earned money. I hope this message can get out quickly enough to help others.

That sucks big time - I have been meaning to start up my own ebay classes, I have been doing it properly for the last 2-3 years, started on around 500usd and turned it too around 60k a month turnover....trust me it is easy, but very very hard work! guided many people in the past and they do around 15k a month. Happy to help BHW members PM me for free advice! Will be a bit vague as with making money you got to put in a lot of effort and research...

Is there a reason why most of the people in this thread are newbies who have either just signed up or lurked for ages, seems a bit odd they would suddenly come out the woodwork to show their disgust. Maybe I'm looking to much into things here but is this an attempt to defame the above mentioned course and people?

Maybe I'm wrong.

Im sorry you got scammed, but you should do more research before shelling out that kind of money. Im a newbie so I wont judge the scammers or the scamees, but the best way to prevent this is simply research. Thank you for posting this so others may see what they are doing.

don't go to ANY seminars, NEVER go.... when you get there they will sweet talk you and slit a hole in your pockets, as you walk around your money will drain out and you can't get any of it back.

Go to seminars if you WANT to get ripped off.

I got caught up in some of that seminar B.S. maaany years ago. Going to a seminar is like walking into the collesium of rome. You'll be startled blinded by the lights and spectacle until your eaten alive by the animals.

Don't go to SEMINARS.

Also, don't bother going to court, you willingly gave your money. Sure they B.S. you but you put your signature on the line, you give them your card number, you did it without a gun to your head or a knife to your neck.

So sorry to say, chop it as a loss, learn and Don't Go To SEMINARS... mmkay bye and good luck.

p.s.
Upload that stuff to mega or something, spam it out there, let people know what fluff it is. That's the way to get them back. Make a SEO site with tons of backlinks and rank the site up there with all their stuff hosted so all can see their amazing junk.

Thanks for sharing, very nice from you. Sure that many people are on the same boat and hopefully you will success in your fight for your right. Searching for information on Google about importing I found their website. Of course I knew that in the end they were going to sell me something, got sick of "hands up who wants to be millionaire". There is no magic to be rich unless you work hard, what we are looking for it's information and unfortunately we face people will try to take advantage from us. Almost $4000 for mentoring is ridiculous!

I have searched very carefully how to start on eBay and I can see as in life nothing is easy, nothing comes as a "piece of cake". Wherever we look is always competition, someone is already there unless you create something that doesn't exist.
What do you mean "eBay will take over your life"? Too demanding?
Cheers

Scan all that shit into electronic format and upload it as a torrent via P2P. Give their trash away for free. They're safe in Australia, since they've been neutered and haven't any guns. No one can shoot Matt in the thigh, or his wife in her fat ass.

It's always a bummer to hear about other people's misfortune. I'm really sorry for this loss OP and thanks for sharing this with us.
