Ebay Listing SEO

Hi guys,
I was wondering if its possible to gain SERPS from backlinking etc.. on ebay listings and if it increases their ranking in terms of ebay search.
If anyone could give me some light on the topic it would be really useful

Im sure it does but do the listings stay active for a while with the same URLs?

If so then yes backlinking will help. If not, then no not really.

One piece of advice I have is to make sure that your listings appear high for related searches. I believe that is done by ebays algorithm related to quality score of sellers, however i havent sold on ebay in ages so could be wrong.

The higher up your listing is naturally within ebay, the higher it will be in google since eBays pagerank is good and thus gets passed along to those listed highest in the listings.
