Hello, I'm new to this forum. I have a question regarding seller limits:
i have a stealth ebay account which is almost 2 years old it is powerseller and top rated almost perfect DSR over 500 feedback. My limits on the account are low in the item section as I'm good with the money part. What precautions should I take before calling ebay for a limit increase? Because I really need one. Thanks for your help.

Are you consistently hitting your limits? I mean, if you are only allowed to sell 50 items, are you constantly selling 50 items a month - and have you been doing so for the past 3 months?

You say you are stealth, but 99% of all people with stealth will NEVER see over 100 items a month, and when they call in to request a higher limit a person says "Oh, a lot of your information isnt verified, we are going to limit you and not allow you to sell but if you have every piece of info we need and it checks out - we will eventually allow you to sell again." - and they never do, so you get stuck in a loop of creating and losing stealth accounts.

My limit is 400/10,000 a month everything is confirmed on the account. Verified Paypal and Credit card on ebay and paypal. I called ebay last month and they raised. They said to call again this month should I? I really need an increase.. Now i use a po box.

Also* I lost my real account about a year and a little due to ebay suspecting fake items.. But i dont sell fake items. Would it be possible to get my real account back that was banned indefinitely?

You built such a great reputation on a stealth page, why?

You should not be calling eBay my opinion. Just more chances to be hemmed up. if you need to sell more open up alot of accounts. No reason to bring so much attention to a beautiful account.

If you are able to sell at 400 a month, and you have been selling 400 items a month for the past 3 months then go for it. You have to accept the fact that there is ALWAYS a chance you will lose the account. Just the way it is, even with fully verified accounts.

If you are fully verified on a stealth, you are obviously using information found as public record. You doing business from a P.O. box raises a concern, because if your attached address is a known P.O. box address, you have are seen as a slightly increased risk as opposed to someone who isn't. If your address is a USPS P.O. box, then switch to a drop box or use some other type of address.

Before you call, leave a couple hundred dollars in your PayPal, don't have any disputes for the past 30-60 days if you can help it.

Im From Canada. But what i dont understand the big risks of calling for a limit raise? I have not had any cases against me for a very long time. Based on my info i provided. I have big quantity of items of buy it now thats why its eating up my limits but not all items are sold.

Its just a risk that's there and you just need to know that it might happen. Other than that, Its safe.

What kind of Risks? I have all real products and no name plastic phone cases with design on the back. That about it. I just really need a raise as im getting more products.

You said this is a stealth account right? So if you sell on any other accounts, they might get you for little things like linkage between the two accounts. Other than that, you should be fine to call in. You did it before right?

Yes i did it 1 time. last month. I dont sell on any other account 1 ebay 1 paypal i have right now. Only thing worried if they ask for documents of some kind? Or you dont think so?

you dont sell brand name items right? if you do, they might ask for documentation for that. But for plastic cases? you should be fine.

i used to but i took them off ebay and sell them on Craiglist. What kind of questions will they ask?

If it's a stealth account, I recommend not calling eBay.

One question will lead to another and that may cause your accounts to be restricted. It is always better to create or purchase more stealth accounts. Always have backup accounts!

its a stealth but i have all real info on it. I have a Po Box on it and a real CC card with the matching zip code of the po box so everything matches. What problems could i have if i call for an increase? I called last month and they raised my limit. Im top rated powerseller 100% feedback over 470 feedback.

If you have all information on hand then it'll be fine.

eBay may or may not ask you to fax over receipts for items you sell and your IDs. I hope the call goes well and your limit will be lifted! I am going to stay tune and see how things go, please keep me informed.
