    Hi Guys.

I have had a selling restriction placed on my ebay account due to my detailed seller ratings falling below the minimum. I want to start selling again though and this is what I have done so far:

    • New address - I have just moved house.
    • New IP - I have changed internet service providers.
    • Clean computer - I have performed a fresh install of windows.

Obviously I will need to register again with ebay and with paypal however, what I'm not sure about is what name to give them. New address, phone numbers and bank details (for paypal) are all fine, but should I use my real name?

If I don't use my real name, what will happen when they ask for proof of my ID? Does anyone know what proof they ask for in the UK?

Also, if I did use my real name and provided legitimate ID, would they link that to my old account and limit me?

Before my limitation I was turning over around £20,000 per month so if I doubt if I will be able to get near to that without having to provide some ID, correct?

There is a book called eBay stealth guide, I found it very helpful, many people recommend it in this forum, a must read.
