Ebay Keeps Turning me Down... Why?

Hello every one. a Noob question here. I just got mail from Ebay, for the 3rd time in several months, turning me down for the "partner program". What am I missing here? I have not abused them, have a paypal account in good standing, have domains, sites and such and have answered truthfully. These bastards keep turning me down. I understand that there comes a time that there maybe a need to buy an account, but since there is no dispute or history... WTF?

What are your web sites like? Any original content, or just feeds and ads? What business model are you listing? Has anyone at the same address (IP or street) ever had an EPN account? What country are you from?

It could be anything but Ebay won't tell you so you have to read the EPN agreement carefully to find the reason

You can also try applying through the Pepperjam affiliate network, Ebay is a merchant there

I am telling them that i am doing promotion on websites.
And no, I don't have a lot of original content, and I'm now thinking thats the main problem thats holding me back. I havent put a lot into the site i'm giving them , mainly because they turned me down in the past, and i have been doing other thiings that have brought in money. My main goal to start with is to get approval with a site that operates in a manner similar to a BANS site but not using any of the templates and "canned" stuff out there. Then once approved move on to bigger and better things with them.
Is it safe to say that you need a site full of original info yet not selling anything to get them to approve you? What are they really looking for?

I think they look at more than one factor. However, they do look at your web site, and if it has nothing but ads and feeds they are unlikely to approve you. If you have been rejected several times already, that is likely to count against you as well.

I hear what your saying Misterajc, and your probably right. However there are other options given by ebay that don't even require a site.... What are people telling them to get approved? Just seems like I'm missing something here.

Google is hammering sites that are nothing but ads from ebay. I think they want people who have a lot of content. I have over 19000 feedback points and do about 20000.00 a month on ebay and they turned me down. I love that they will not give a specific reason why you got turned down. I did eventually get accepted. I never knew why they turned me down nor why the finally accepted me. They are not big on customer service.
