Interesting news indeed! It appears that they are implementing this to ban accounts that's being used on servers.

Blocking the js files won't work because you can't proceed checkout if that file is blocked.

I believe this can be worked around by changing the default RDP port (if you are using Windows VPS) or VNC ports (if you are using Linux)

Edit: it's also confirmed (on the source comment section) that the scripts don't run (or blocked) when we use Brave (https://brave.com/)

Yupp, @Gogol mentioned that in another thread. Looks like they are trying to weave out VPS connections through RDP or other port protocols as well as scanning some unnecessary ports

I didn't see a thread so just thought that I should open one as I know there are a lot of BHW users are trying to use eBay on servers Thanks @Gogol for the up-to-date news!

Make sure to add the custom port to your server's firewall or you will be locked out of your server

Yeah I totally thought ebay became scammers, at first. On a closer inspection it looked like an attempt to weed out bot accounts. Seriously, more people in this forum needs to know about this.
