ebay hacked or down?

Cannot get into eBay - takes me to sign in page and says cannot load the page.

I was reading some comments on one of the monitoring sites and a few posters noted they where redirected to a Russian website, so it could be hackers at work.

Same here.

Sign in page is OK but can't get any further than that.
 
Yeah noticed also that Ebay is down, just wanted to see if there are some faulty macbook pros for sale :(
 
Just checked ebay.com works, ebay.de and ebay.co.uk are down

Can't imagine how many auctions were completely fucked in that 6 hours... sold well below reserve, maybe iPhones for 0.99c first bidders

Website was down for a few hours last week, it effected EBay's websites worldwide. I believe they have servers scatters across the world so not everyone would be effected.
