Ebay feedback question please help

hi everyone? i have a question it might not be a very important one but it is a little bit for me, i sold an arabic cartoon dvd on ebay (clearly listed as arabic cartoon in arabic language only) and after few days the buyer emails me and says they didnt read the description properly and if it was possible for me to allow them to return the dvd (opened) and get a refund or the same dvd but in english so i told them i dont have it in english but dont worry about it its not a big deal i will refund you fully including the shipping costs ( i was feeling good that day and i was nice lol) but in return i asked for a nice feedback and i refunded this person and told them to keep the dvd or give it away, guess what they did? they left me a neutral????????? this is the feedback i received ( it was good but i should have read it was different langauge) is there anyway to remove this feedback? i already opened a cancel item against that person and they are not even answering the cancellation in case 8 days passes will i get that feedback removed? if not how to deal with this person? i know netural is not bad but seriously how the hell did i deserve this? i just dont get it and its killing me any help would be much appreciated thanks alot

i worked for ebay long ago. they supposedly will only remove feedback if you send them a legal writ claiming it's defamation of character. powersellers have templates they use to get negative feedback removed daily using this method

feedback system is a joke, you should expect retards to give you shitty feedback for no reason on ebay. or for competitors to mass buy your stuff, then leave you negative feedback spam and harass you for returns or rip you off. when I worked there guitar resellers did this to each other all the time

Some people on ebay are unbelievable. At the very least I would reply to the feedback saying you gave the buyer a full refund and ask the buyer to revise their feedback.

I got my first negative by someone who got the item and was happy with it but confused me with another seller.

When I politely contacted them and asked if they would change the feedback I got ignored. I even sent out a request but they never followed up. I got one email in return saying sorry about the mix up but you have so many positives one negative isn't a big deal.

I really dislike the fact that ebay took away the option of leaving bad bidders negative feedback. Not because retaliating would have fixed things in this case but it just seems now there are a small portion of bidders out there who feel, "hey they can only leave me positive feedback and I can do whatever I want so I don't care"

I am an ebay gold powerseller.
When I first started on ebay, I was very worried about feedback. When I first got promoted to Preferred Seller (20% discount and priority listings) then I really worried about my feedback.
Then I realized how many buyers use the system to screw sellers. They make ridiculous requests always holding the threat of negative feedback over a sellers head. When I mess something up, I go above and beyond to fix it. But I do not indulge in this feedback blackmail bull. Anyway, got a few negative feedbacks, and actually lost my preferred seller last month. Losing the 20% discount (went to 8) sucked, but I have seen no decrease in sales volume or profit because of it. Try not to get obsessed with feedback. its a horrible system for sellers and you will cause yourself tons of stress dealing with every little thing like this.
