Ebay fee calculator not right?

Well i just sold a toy for $6.99 (free shipping) and when i used the ebay fee calculator it said the fees will be $0.70 but it was $0.77!! and when i sold something else for $4.25 the fees are suppose to be only $0.43 but it's $0.43 and sometimes $0.42? what the hell is wrong with ebays fee calculator? i know 7 cents or 1 cent isn't a big deal but i'm keeping records of everything (date, income made, pp fees, ebay fees, etc) just in case i get audited and i want everything to be right. Did anyone else notice it?

Yeah i could never get the ebay calculator to work properly for me, i would say don't worry about it, just concentrate on your working numbers, and track those, not what a fee calculator is telling you.

And what are you doing with your own calculation ? If you find something wrong, you call ebay or what?
 
Always work with monthly statements ebay sends you to do accounts..
Any fee calculator you use is best for when you want to work out if a product is worth buying or not, is there enough margin and so on..
For accounts it best to wait until ebay has sent you their final invoice..

We use the godaddy bookkeeping to keep track of all of our numbers but when it comes to an ebay fee calculator for research when buying something we personaly like the one they have over at eselling made easy. Theirs is always up to date with the ebay and paypal fees. and it's the only one I have found that is mobile friendly. Hope this helps.
 
there is many ebay calculators i use a certain one with all my stealth accounts.

what one are you guys using?
