Ebay changed Fixed Price listings

I just checked it, i can confirm, the 30 days option is not there on ebay.com anymore. It's still there on ebay.co.uk along with the shorter periods: 3, 5, 7, 10 days.
The good 'til cancelled listing is a 30 day listing though, it's just that it auto-renewes every 30 days until everything is sold under that listing or you cancel it.

Yes, but the problem with "Good Until Cancelled" is that you now have to manually go and check every listing to update your description and the details. When the listing used to fall off after 30 days and I would have to relist it, that was a good time for me to always check and update my listing that it's up to date (since I'm dropshipping and item info often changes). I would always check with my dropshipper website listing and make sure I updated all the info and pictures. Now that it's never going to show up as needing to be relisted, I have to manually remind myself to check it every now and then...30 days? 60 days? who knows...sometimes I bet I will forget to update a listing after it has been continuously auto relisted by ebay for 4-5 months and not realize the picture or description or even the item itself is out of date or no longer sold! I foresee a lot of problems with this new listing format for dropshippers and I don't use or know how to use any automated software that might auto update my listings by itself(?)

As a reminder, this change does not apply to auctions. We’re making this change because we have seen that GTC listings offer more sales opportunities than any other fixed price duration. Over time, GTC listings keep and grow watchers, sales history, and SEO authority as they maintain the same item ID and URL for the life of the listing. We believe all of the above improves the ability for buyers to discover items on eBay, which thereby improves the likelihood of a sale."
