This is what I get when I type ' Change User ID ' in eBay Customer support.
To change your user ID:
1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may have to sign in.
2. Under the Account tab, select Personal Information.
3. Click the Edit link to the right of your user ID.
You can only change your user ID once every 30 days. This is to help prevent confusion among other eBay members who become familiar with your unique user ID.

Yes - Follow the post above by Ebayer, also to keep in mind you should remember that you can't change the nick for every 30 days, so choose wisely or wait 30 days.
