Hello,

This is a question for the selling alternative to eBay, Bonanza. Bonanza is asking for a credit card to verify my name. Can I use any Virtual Credit Card and it will accept it? Or do I have use to a credit card that is under my accounts name?

if so, is there any services out there that I can use any name on the VCC?

Thank you for the help!

My information may not be current but last time I made a bonanza acct VCC's worked. However, it was a total waste of time because traffic on Bonanza is like 1/50 of eBay and customer service at Bonanza were total jerkwads.

I have no experience with Bonanza, but any VCC that can pass the AVS check should work with any name/address. When in doubt, the good ole Vanilla Visa + registering the stealth zip code online has yet to fail me.

Vanilla Visa's still don't need any verification? like S.S Number?

Any over the counter pre paid cards don't need to be provided with SS# unless you're trying to buy more than $10K worth with cash

That's the ticket.

Sadly Bonanza is a waste of time i sure wish they would take off because Ebay and Paypal is a PITA.

I agree, bonanza is a waste of time. Their website and idea is simple and nice but I tried selling on Bonanza and had no traffic or sales compared to Ebay.

etsy but bonanza getting bigger many ebay sellers are switching there less restrictions.

Maybe even less as I had about 300k items listed on 4 accounts. Items ranging from 40-2000 and had sales of max 1000-2000$ per month with a quite small profit margin.

Bonanza is somewhat more lenient toward fakes and that's eventually going to bite them in the ass. Once a site has a reputation for fakes the seller/buyer ratio goes through the roof and it's over for the site.
