ebay best match optimization help

i just joined in this forum today....I am seller on eBay for items of specific brand...i am noticing for past several weeks my items are not getting viewing/display...the best match pulling sellers who are not even selling that brand but just have its keyword in title(off course i have that as well)i am not even on 5 page, there are almost 3k items on this category... so i was wondering are there any services or SEO available which can bring my products in BM ... sorry if i sound dumb

There's nothing to optimize best match. Best match is figured out by eBay based on a whole bunch of metrics like your sell through rate, how quick you respond, how quick you ship, feedback, and DSR to name a few. If you want to be higher on best match just provide better service and they'll bump you up over time.

Personally, not even sure it matters that much. The good majority of people on eBay are looking for a deal and sort by lowest price. If you want more sales, reducing your profit margin is an option, but be careful not to get involved in a race to the bottom with other sellers. eBay is generally better with that than Amazon though as eBay obviously has price conscious (aka: cheap) buyers but it's not like Amazon where they pretty much encourage a price war from sellers.

1) Add keyword in title.
2) Add keyword in item specifics.
3) Add keyword in description.
4) Run at least one week long auction in your account starting at 99 cents starting and ending at 7 pm PST. Done worry if it sells for low. Consider it as your marketing spend.
5) Run a GTC fixed price listing that can accumulate views, watches, sales and feedbacks over time. If no one else is buying yet, ask some friends on bhw or outside to buy that product and give you feedback.
