So I am on a Stealth Ebay account, my other account is restricted due to low DSR's, I know the account isn't flagged as "fraudulent" or anything like that. Just basically, bad customer service; all from one customer. But that's another story.

So fast forward to my Stealth account I created properly. When I click request higher selling limits; I did this just out of curiosity, it asks me to link to another Ebay account; says if that account has higher selling limits this account will receive the same amount.

I am aware that Ebay allows multiple accounts; but I can't remember on my old account this happening when I clicked request higher selling limits.

Is this Ebay trying to set get me to set myself up?

The Ebay stealth account is under my Middle Name and Last Name, my old account was under my First and Last, with my sister address;so I can get returns, and with new paypal (Paypal account is my middle name and last name but it was able to link to my bank) linked to one of my banks accounts I opened. My I.P has been switched, I am using a completely different computer, and haven't touched my old account in months. My new account is only a couple weeks old, so maybe it is just assuming that I have another account since most newbies don't request higher selling limits that quickly.

I know I never linked my paypal account to my restricted ebay account, and I don't think I ever gave them my SIN or other info.

So basically does anyone know why Ebay would be asking me to link to another account in order to boost my selling limits? Is it because my account is so new? or Are they trying to link me to the restricted account.
