So eBay and Paypal will split to become 2 separate companies on Friday, July 17.

Are there things you believe will change? Would this split have any impact on the way both companies operate?

Do you expect Paypal to better behave towards sellers, or do you think they will keep on treating us badly?

I surely hope they don't change too much. I like it as it is. I haven't had too many problems with them treating me badly like so many other people on here. Just have your shit straight and you will be good.

what i would like is for ebay to start accepting other payment gateways such as 2checkout etc

They already accept other payment gateways, though 2CO and Google checkout are now in the list..
But I think the PP-eBay split will make eBay accept more payment methods than they already do

PayPal going global as a bank in the UK and providing loans, morgage, bank accounts, investments , even there own buildings like banks already open and on the market.

paypal online services will not change left as is.

ebay and PayPal are still working the same with each over just splitting there business partnership and expanding PayPal as said above .

there be no change in the way we all do business know.

I personally have never had any issues with paypal. I have never been treated bad by them, so this is sort of sad for me in a way.

I never had any problems with them either until one day, they suddenly decided to PERMANENTLY limit my account with NO APPEAL, because of a $8.99 sale on eBay... and on top of it, they never mentioned what was wrong with that particular sale..

Tried to contact them only to receive automated replies that never answered my questions... There's no way to talk to them like you can talk to a human being.. and I know calling them will not make any difference, because their reps have no power to reinstate accounts anyway... they will just say "I'm sorry sir, but..." and I really dont want to hear that BS..

There will be no drastic changes, as eBay has pretty much guaranteed that Paypal will be at least 80% of the merchant processing on eBay for the next 5 years.

Only big change we know that PayPal already put in place is the ability to open a dispute within a 180 day period.

Yes, normal for PayPal to limit for 180 days and not provide a reason.
