Of course not, there are drop shippers that die, go out of business, change their minds, and underperform in terms of value. You should do EVERYTHING in your power to prove it does work, that's the best way to think about it. Then you'll actually feel motivated to work towards that goal till you achieve it, as you'll always be thinking about what will or won't work. Studying your market and plan carefully is all that is required to make a start somewhere.

Too late for people with NO budget.
Nowadays you need capital.
Not like back in the days when I started with $30 to my name.
Now you need at least $2000 to start.

Honestly I thought about doing drop shipping again after being away from it for about 14 or 15 years but it does seem like it's too late or things are kinda played out so you might be right but it's probably the way we are looking at it.
