Ebay > Amazon

If I invest for first product. And ship that item. After that I will get that amount in Paypal? So, then I will pay for another shipping. BTW Thanks.
Nope, you need to deliver more than that for sure. I think you can find this info in your eBay account somewhere.

Got an e-mail today that just confirm me closing my Amazon account.

Something about it being the holidays and I don't meet their stringent guidelines, so during the holidays I can't list any toys. They then deactivated any toys I had listed. After the holidays, I can list them again. WTF!

B
Trying my hand at drop-shipping, and I've sold things on ebay before, yet Amazon is new.

How come I've just learned that Amazon is going to hold my funds for 30+ days, or whatever they figure since I said it comes from China.

Ebay never did that!
Bro What Tax information is required to create account on amazon?

There are services that allow you to take out money from Amazon instantly, but they charge 2%. The name escaped me atm, but something to think about. Dropshipping to Amazon customers is impossible since Amazon takes their shipping metrics really seriously.

eBay is way softer because thet cant compete with Amazon and how big they are... Also on the other hand thats why Amazon is so severem since they have way to high of a standar... Just part of the business

If you don't want Amazon to hold your funds, you should set up your own store. Why sell on Amazon when you can start your own store in Wordpress? This way you'll have more control over your profits and what products you wish to sell as well.

The "why not to start your own store with wordpress" here would be that you are "NO ONE" having your own site, you have to drive traffic, is just way too difficult to get traffic and then CONVERT that traffic? Even tougher.

You have to go through a lot of paid ads on FB, IG, etc to try to get that people to go to your site and if you dont know your demographic good enough, then the people going to your site wont buy.

So the "easy solution to that" would be just use Amazon/eBay platofrm to get said traffic, the problem would be that you have to pay 10% fees (give or take) to them for having "the honor of selling in ther site"

So yeah, not saying its not a good idea, more difficult and more investment to try to get traction

You're completely right about that. If you wish to start your own store, you'll have to study the market and know your target audience before you make the sales. Further, you'll have to promote it on FB, Google, Instagram and do a complete SEO for your site. But, this all will be worth it. Yes, there's a lot of work but no one said it'd be easy.

But think of it in this way... You have complete control over your profits, you can serve your customers better and create a brand credibility in the market. This will help to later expand your business in the same or relative niches.

Yeah I see that as a "high risk high reward" but also requires lot of study/knowledge beforehand.

I agree profits are going to be BEAUTIFUL since majority of it goes to your own pocket. Ill stick with eBay for a while and my old fashiones - low risk Dropshipping so I dont have to play big stackes with my money.

But def. will research and learn more about how to have my own store in the future.
