ok so my ebay account was just suspended for 30 days for selling to many designer type products. Has this happened to anyone else? And if it has, after the 30 days was the account opened back up with no restrictions? thks.

I listed a designer product and they removed it and said they need to build trust with me before i can start selling designer stuff. :s

Thats crap, they don't tell you that when you sign up. Would be interested to know their definition of trust is? How much stuff did you sell before they did this?

the account had over 2.4k positive feedback so i rang them and whats this about, they told me that we have various policies in place to ensure fake good aint sold ect so we build trust with the seller to make sure everything sold is authentic. I told her i was a powerseller with 100% feedback so what type of trust is their to build. Well the conclusion was that they are going to review my account in 3 months time and let me know weather im allowed.

One word: VERO

If I see "designer goods", then I assume "fake" especially a new account.

Older accounts can take more VERO hits, but new accounts- once it's gone-it's gone.

VeRO is a dead end... if you continue selling VeRO items your account will most likely be shut down.

you will not get automatically reinstated after 30 days. you have to apply for reinstatement and fax in i.d and utility bill. with that much feedback it would be worth trying to get reinstated......unless you registered with fake info.
