eBay Account Question

So I am purchasing a old account from 1998 and was just curious if I should be aware of anything or do anything to secure it? I am purchasing it to sell some goods and the account I am using now that I just made isn't receiving any offers and has no feedback. The seller said the account is from the US and I shouldn't have any issues but I just want to make sure and hopefully one of you experienced ebayers can help me before I purchase. Thank you!

If you dont transfer it well, they may close it so try to get the cookies when you transfer the account. Also use a proxy or ip from same country as the accounts original ip. I recommend a static residential proxy of youre not from the same country as the seller.

If the account is very aged but with little to no feedback/sales, it's not much different from a new account. This can guide you in your pricing of the account.

It's from the same country as I am, it also has 300 feedback. Should I wait to update info once secure and give it some time on my IP?

You should see the seller dashboard. That will guide you a bit. Sales in history, sales this year. Feedbacks. Sales volume.
Yes when you secure it, warm it up for sometime on your ip and pc. If you had an ebay acct on your PC I suggest you use a VM or VPS otherwise you link both accts.
Warmup for at least a week. Intentionally visit many pages so you save cookies.

Yeah proxy from the same country is a MUST
 
You can transfer without problems, the main thing is not to change a lot of information in your account at once, for example, name, address, password. It’s better to do everything gradually, the age of the account is very important, and if there were sales on this account, that’s very good

The guy unfortunately scammed me. His website is old-account.com I thought he was legit. I should’ve used a MM.
