recently sold a few high risk items- stupid rookie mistake but only sold like 6 items now ebay have held my account until i give them invoices- this was from a dropshipper and i dont have the receipts.
Any advice? should i call them up? write them an email? make up invoices?

Create your own invoices then respond to them. Give them what they need, be helpful, friendly and they should release the account without problems.

if you're really from Israel then make your invoice in your local language and bingo submit it to eBay International.I did it few times on PayPal and they restored my account didn't tried it on eBay so not sure about but it worth to give a try

Make your own invoices, you can use the above image as a template. Make sure you've got a nice logo, company contact information, fake invoice numbers, etc. Send all the invoices as pdfs.

is this safe? im not a professional and dont want to get into trouble..
What if i just tell the truth and play it innocent?

pretty much what is said above... there is also a guy in BST that does this specifically. it will also help to have them on hand when paypal questions you. in addition once you pay for it one time, you can edit it yourself.

You probably should have thought like that before selling knockoffs to unsuspecting buyers. If you're going to sell knockoffs then expect trouble and consider how you're going to deal with it. You act surprised at eBay's response when it should have been no surprise at all. Plenty of stories on the web and BHW about how eBay treats sellers of knockoffs.

BTW, I have no problem with sellers that sell knockoffs and consider the buyers are getting what they deserve if they're looking for large brands for pennies on the dollar. Just be prepared when eBay or PayPal calls because it's never a case of "if they call" but rather a case of "when they call". Good luck

Well, first of all i had no idea these are not real, before i knew about this forum i thought all ebay brands are authentic-swear to good! and never heard about stealth accounts
Call me naive but i definitly didnt know that its not real.
secondly, I talked to eBay and told the truth- yes, that i was selling stuff that i was unaware that i dont have any receipts and surprise surprise they reinstated my account.

they did tell me that next time i try to list any of these items i will have to show receipts, but thats ok as im not going down that road anymore.

This has happened to me as well, send the invoices in. And hopefully, they will restore your account. In my experience, they didn't.
eBay tends to be very strict, which is why I do try to stay away from them as much as possible.
