Ebay ranking trick​
This is little trick I found on a german website so the credits not belong to me.

It is pretty simple. You need to list some sort of gift cards on ebay, let's say an Amazon Gift card for 1.50$. Than you will sell it for 1.49$ each. Yes you will maybe make a few bucks in loss at the beginning but at the end it will pay off.

After you gift card listing has a few sells, views and watchers you only need to change the listing in that product what you really want to sell.

How should this work?

Pretty simple ebay keeps the sell through rate, watchers and viewers from that listing so basicly you will rank higher for your "real" listing.

You will need to change the title and category too, which might come with the change your item number.

Thats not the problem, you can change everything
 
What if you get many reports?

Ebay search engine Cassini gives best rankings with best CTR.

It means, if you get 100 people coming to your listing and 99 of them will buy your product - then Ebay will show you very well ranked.

If you get 100 people coming to your listing and only 1 of them will buy your product - then Ebay will show you in the bottom.
 
There’s also services out there that sells “Watchers” I’m not sure if it’s reputable but if anyone ever tried it, would love to hear some feedbacks

It’s not CTR, it’s CR.

Your statement summarize Conversion Rate (CR), not the Click Through Rate (CTR)
 
So basically, sell a low-cost item at shit prices at a loss.

Once you rack up enough sales to prove your buy:view ratio is decent, list your real product and ebay will have you at a higher authority.

Correct?
 
if you have some margin on the product, do the charity thingy, it said that it will help for the visibility. i did that on mine with charity and ad set.
