Namecheap support is not slow. They are instant. They have live chat 24/7. I have tons of domains with them.I've been using Namecheap's EasyWP for 5 months now... I've also been using Bluehost and Siteground for a few other sites -- so I can compare a bit...
I have not experienced 1 instance of downtime with Namecheap. Whereas Bluehost I've already experienced downtime and a few errors -- with Siteground everything's been perfect, but renewal prices for them suck so I've decided to stick with Namecheap. For the price and the lack of problems, Namecheap is good IMO.
I've even managed to get A+ scores on gtmetrix etc with namecheap.
The downsides of Namecheap... support is kinda slow, and if you're not too tech savvy it sucks having to wait around a day to hear back from them. Other than that, it's worth it.
