    Hi,

I've just installed a new theme on my blog and it looks great apart from the meta title (i think that's the right phrase, the title that the search engines think is the title of the post) comes up as just "Sitename |" for every post. I'd like to make it back to "Name of post | sitename".

I tried replacing the code between <title></title> in header.php in my new theme with that of my old theme but it didn't seem to make a difference. Can anyone tell me what I need to do or is there just a plugin I can install that'll do it for me?

Rep and thanks for whoever can help!

Settings---general----site title and tagline.....If you just changed it might take a few hours to change on your site depending on server speed.....it might also take overnight before it changes in the serps.....at this point I usually point out that Yoast is a big improvement on all in one but either one is very good.

Hey the-dream, Look in wordpress dashboard at the "appearance" menu - your template options - if there is a template with SEO options you can find those options there.
