I just got scrapebox a few weeks ago and have been learning how it works. For me the best way is to do easy stuff and learn as I go. I've noticed that people go nuts about auto-approve lists even with the obvious issues. Here's how I make them so they're fresh:

1. leave a couple of your backseat wordpress blogs to allow posts but require moderator approval. Thats settings > discussions > before a comment appears (check both options). Everything else unchecked.

2. the spammers will find you and hit you with a ton of spam comments but they'll stay in "pending".

3. dig up the really poorly written ones - viagra, soma, xanax, whatever. comments that are obvious spam. Get about 25 or so. And only go back about a week - that way you know everything is fresh.

4. in scrapebox - load the spammers url in the harvester and use the backlinks addon to get the spammers back links.

5. Import the backlinks into the harvester and do a link extraction. Choose to extract internal links only. This will pull all the pages on the auto-approver site.

6. Save the extracted links and load it into the "blogs" section in scrapebox and you're off to the races.

I go from 25 spammers to 1000 backlinks to 8000 internal links. Mind you, some of those pages don't allow comments - archive pages, categories, etc.

I just pulled up two pages randomly and manually commented. One page only had one comment and the other had four. Both of mine were auto-approved.

you also can look for AA blogs and get the links from there,

good post! +1

Wouldn't you get only backlinks from viagra spammed blogs with over 500 comments etc? Isn't it better to scrape blogs with your keyword lists and then test the blogs if they are AA?

Yeah, those are definitely in there. But I'm not kidding - the two samples I pullled had four comments and one comment on them. I think it helps if you only use spam comments in moderation that are a week old or less.
