Easy Twitter Traffic

I have been reading lots of posts lately about using twitter either for traffic generation or lead generation. Although I know about twitter I havent used it. So a few days ago I signed up and decided I would promote one of my black hat domains. Its been 60 hours since the first twitter post (do you call that a twit?), anyways, and I have received over 500 visitors to my sites and so far a 5% conversion rate (if my real-stats hold up).

Here I what I did.

1) Pick an up an coming niche
2) Sign up to twitter
3) Post a tweet about something random. Can be anything like ('oh i love that new ____ movie'.
4) Wait 5 minutes.
5) Post another tweet saying 'check out this <TINY_URL_LINK_TO_BH_DOMAIN> for information on <NICHE>
6) Follow a couple popular twitter users.
7) Watch the traffic roll in.

Very good strategy. Low and slow....

This type of strategy works because it is a combination of marketing AND creating a real/plausible identity.

Can't complain about 5% conversion rate -- and it is EASY.

Yeah, xcubic has created a tool called The Flaming xBird doing just that (and much more).

i have tested twitterfeed for the rss, but i am not quite happy. but it does the job...

thnx again, but i can not follow the link. gues i have to less posts in this forum... i use a wordpress plugin for my own rss feeds right now. thats pretty ok. but they post way too much content to twitter (what is ok for me for spam blogs/accounts)
i will test that xBird software as soon as i get the login data from xcubic. that should fill my needs

And to get more traffic .. target your followers. Twitter is over flooded with autobots at the moment.

dude nice, i'm trying it right now. it looks good so far, thx man. i'm also using this technique for more views on youtube.
