Easy screen recording software + add subtitles

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for easy to use screen recording software. I need to show my VA's what they have to do.

Software:

- Unlimited recording time, don't care about a watermark
- Has to be free (or trial)

Then I want to add subtitles to it.
What would you recommend?

Thanks, I'll check those out.

After I've recorded my actions I need to voice it over and add subtitles. How would I go about doing that, Windows Movie Maker? As you can figure, I've never done any video editing in my life. Help very much appreciated.
 
I use camtasia but the problem with it is, it makes some really big sized videos. But, you can really customize your videos and screen recordings any way you want with camtasia.
 
Like I said its a long time since I used camstudio but you could add microphone/voiceover text/annotations

Pretty good tool for open source. Download it in 10 minutes and have a play

Wut? My Camtasia vids are like a couple MB / Min. Try rendering them in .mp4 format. :)
 
I agree with these guys, usually if I have any needs as far as screen recording and editing goes, I'll take it to camtasia

Camtasia is the great software which is best screen recording software and very easy to use.

You could give that a go.

There are so many screen video recording software available in the market but the best are Camtasia and Camstudio which is free.
 
I can recommend three: camtasia, rylstim or camstudio. They're all good, you just have to choose one that will suit you the most.
 
For a simple job like showing somewhat what to do, I like

You get up to 5 minute recordings free and can save it on their server and just sent the VA the link - and if you need longer, paid unlimited version without watermarks is very cheap
 
OBS(free no watermark) and add subtitles with some other editor
