Easy niche?

Hey guys,

I want to start with YT + CPA content locking and have been struggling with finding a niche on which I should focus on. I know that the niche I choose has to offer digital products in order to do the content locking, but all I can think of is games, movies, music and ebooks.

Could anyone offer me some help on that? Thanks!

Too competitive. I search for products that have not even been released yet and there are thousands of results on YT and Google. Should I focus on finding long tail keyword specifically for a product, for example, "How to earn gold with Diablo 3", or focus on finding products that don't have too much competition?

I am sure you ddin't even try anything yet. Tak action with the niches you found (even obvious one)
Nearly every marketer start with youtube today. Youtube is competitive.
 
You will learn along the way. My first niches were all super obvious ones in the beginning, and some of them still are. Just start working and you will learn as you go. I've been at this (Youtube) for 3 months now and am finally just figuring out how everything works. Take action, see what works and duplicate that success.
 
you can content lock anything.

some ideas

- make an answer site
- howto site
- website template and graphics
- discount site

think of what people WANT and need either to solve a problem or look for things people are desperate at getting better at something, may it be music instruments or competitive gaming.
 
I agree with the above posts, you can lock just about anything - however, if you want people motivated enough to complete your CPA offers you need to find something that isn't quickly available somewhere else or your traffic will just go there to get it instead.

That said, this is a black hat forum. You could spend your time finding real content to lock, but why bother when you could take the easy route? You still need to do a little more research - what are people looking for, but unable to find? Maybe there's a movie out that hasn't been already drained lifeless by other marketers, or maybe people are looking for a keygen to a popular game but one hasn't been released yet. Figure out how many times the content has been searched for (ex. "diablo 3 keygen") and then check out your competition. If the numbers look good and your competition is low/bad then go with whatever you found, and if not then just move on until you find something that hasn't been tapped dry.

To be honest this method has been beaten to death, so just about any niche is going to have high competition. As long as you find the "thing" that people want but can't seem to find, you can slap a content lock on it and you're ready to go.
 
Completely agree with ScrayMustard and xxf8xx. When it comes to content locking, you can lock just about anything of value. I have been doing the CPA + YT niche for awhile now and all I do is content locking with it. I do not just stick with one niche, I have many because I have also tried many out there. "Less thinking more doing".

Research a few, try them out one by one and test out the results.
 
You can content lock anything, just use your creativity.
 
All the "competitive" niches are easy to monetize and easy to get traffic. Just take action.
 
Competition is a good thing with YouTube. Instead of doing what everyone else does (uploading videos) try mass commenting on other peoples videos. I just gather a list of videos that allow comments and have high amounts of views, save them in a txt file. Then I just mass spam my comment to each video. This is quick and easy traffic. Also competition within the niche is great as there will be more videos for you to comment on, which means more traffic, which equals more money :)

whatever you do dont take this advice, spam videos relevant to your niche but dont comment on competition videos, youll end up getting into a flagging war where you will both loose , its not worth the hassle

What do you recommend for ranking the videos then? Back linking and social bookmarks? Are services like vagex worthwhile?
 
I also think volume of videos brings more positive results. Having several videos strewn across several Youtube accounts each targeting different long-tail keywords in that niche, helps greatly with gaining not only exposure but also clickthroughs and possible completion of CPA offers.

ive had massive success in the last week off youtube+ppd and i didnt use many blackhat methods , only fake comments and likes, the videos got there views naturally from posting the video on any and every website your definately going to get views from, im not going to say too much more i dont want it ruining my chances of earning :)

What LOL? Take it you didn't read what I put?

LOL commenting on any video will get you flagged.

And as for a flagging war? I flag everyone's comment that is spam, and people do it back to me. The comments all then get marked as spam and then everyone just re-spams their comments. So there is no point being one of these people who only comments on certain videos hoping they don't get flagged. If your that paranoid then this niche isn't for you.

Both loosing? I can make $100+/day doing this. And I am sure that my competitors also make the same amount of money.

So don't try to discourage OP with useless advise.
