First of all, this is by no means a new method, maybe it's not even classed as a method, and I am not after any congrats or anything, it's just a fairly easy way to make a bit of money, and it's meant to be for noobs that are looking for a way to make some money but don't really know much;)

All you need is a website with some PR (in my case I build the site, bought added some articles and bought a few of the $5 social bookmark services available here and got pr3 within less than 2 months).

Then just offer a blogroll link on fiverr - promote it as being say a pr3 blogroll link, I am offering permanent link, but you could just as well offer for say 6 months/1 year link.

I put my gig up about 3 weeks ago and I have sold 28 gigs already so that's $4 x 28 = $112
All you need to do is create a couple of variants and/or use a few fiverr accounts and that could easily be tripled.

As I said it's not great, but it is a pretty easy way to start making a little cash (good for getting yourself inspired).

thats good money..
if we have some 10 sites, lol.. it will be lot of money.

Did you try to sell those blog roll links for more? for example 40-50$?

Maybe that some people on other forum like DP will be interested for those kind of links.

So.. in the end you have 28 links on your site..
I suppose you dont do that on your main website ?
You make a blog juste for that ?

If your site is like PR3 or so, Fiverr will be the best thing. but If you have something like 6 or 7, you can sell links in DP for 50-100 a pop.

But, I would never make my site crappy with links, but will monetize it way better.

Johnny I choose fiverr for the minimal effort, I didn't want to spend loads of time.

Aki it's not one of my main projects, to be honest the site was actually a failed project (but I learned loads about keyword research and good bhw services in the process), since it had pr3 I decided to experiment with it on fiverr:) admittedly I wouldn't have that many links on my main site (in fact I have a pr4 site sells for $40 per link per month).

Anyway what I am suggesting for this is either making use of a dormant domain WITH PR, or building a site specific for the purpose - once again it's small money but it's also a good learning experience - I know when I started, making money was quite a challenge.

I also thought this was very relevant because there is a buzz here at the moment regarding PR becoming less and less relevant, AND easier to obtain - I think both statements are true, so this method basically turns those facts to your advantage!!!

Once again, I appreciate this isn't probably interesting for any seasoned IM'ers but will be good for noobs:)

It's not really a sustainable business model, but a great way to build some seed money or raise cash for any software/tools you need.

What I would do is use the earnings from that first site (which take time to make because you need to get the site up to PR 3 before you can sell links), then I'd start buying domains that already had some PR over at DP (just make sure the PR is real).

Toss some PLR on them and start listing gigs quicker.

Rinse and repeat until you've earned what you need and move on.

Thanks scb good addition to the initial method!! I agree it's not really sustainable income generator, but might be a good start for some people.

There is definitely money to be made in link selling. I've tried out several different link selling sites but never even thought to try fiverr!

Yep, I normally use text-link-ads, or private sales, but yes there is definitely a Market on fiverr for the lower end sales:)
