1. Buy crypto, either bitcoin or ethereum for real money. I'd suggest that you find a local supplier. You can search for local suppliers on localbitcoins.com for any country. You might also look for those bitcoin ATMs if you're from a bigger city.
2. If you bought bitcoin, convert it to ethereum, using changelly or some other crypto exchange. If you bought ethereum directly, no need to do anything.
3. Go on idex.com or hitbtc.com to trade your ethereum for BDG.

Yes, even when sending BDG, the fee is still paid using ETH. That's why you should never dry your ETH balance, or your tokens will be stuck.
