It's a good way to fluff up your Likes. Like a previous poster said, it gives you a little more credibility to other folks if they say that several people already like your page. I use it to get a page jumpstarted.

These fans are useless becoz people are just there to like ur fanpage. Without knowing or taking any interest about ur niche. They are not potential users becoz u can't sell anything to these people. They are just like a bot who just love to click on like button and want to get credit as max.
