.:$easy $100 plus a day anyone can do!:.

Wait outside and do it or put them on the entrance area by the till. Simple.

Suuuure......take a few hours today and go TRY it. We'll just see what happens.

You can't solicit at a casino. They are going to see you and they most definitely are going to do something about it. They are in fucking business to make money, not let 19-year old punks walk around and solicit their customers to try and get them to gamble online from the comfort of their home instead of in their casino.

Are you fucking serious?

I know alot of you guys are still teenagers, but some of you need a serious reality check. I guess some of you will just have to learn for yourselves.

Print those business cards and run to your nearest casino. Have fun. Hopefully you won't need a lawyer...or a doctor.:)

why not, make a sort of forum, advertise the forum as a meet up for these guys and just get it packed, say you will pay each player $20 or whatever the minimum deposit is, just have them message you after they have desposited and compensate them, end of the day its a free $20 to them then :) get ur sign up and they go play

Exactly. This is what most forums and affiliates already do. They give you a bonus as long as you deposit a minimum amount of money.

You could do something like this and advertise it on CL.

One forum I'm familiar with offers a $50 bonus for joining with a minimum of $300 deposit.

Now to most n00bs that seems too hard to do. You basically have to make a $300 sale, while the $100 CPA that the OP mentioned seems "easy", even though it doesn't exist for FREE players you sign up, only for those who deposit money.

There is WORK involved in this niche, simple spam won't do the job. But the rewards are huge and that's why it's so competitive.

im looking to start a community/site where it's "Get paid to play poker" they simply sign up at chosen networks i pormote, they get the xx amount show in their account on the site and get paid when i get paid, or i have the poker companys stick it in their account. You can add all sorts of mumbo to this with monthly competitions, most hands played etc as u can see all aff stats :)

Also known as CentSports and CentPoker...I had an idea like yours, except it was a little more like ESPN.com's Streak for the Cash where you would have had to accumulate either a 25 game win streak or 25 game losing streak...free of charge, and you'd win a prize

Hey,

I'm also going to work on this idea. Yahoo mail has an automatic responder - just trying to find a poker affiliate program. Pay per lead may be an interesting choice.

Thanks.

Have you ever heard of being sneeky?

I know its risky.

What i'm going to do is go there with some of them in my friends handbag. They dont check it. And then just meet people :) If i want to be really sneeky i could just slip it in their bags etc.

Ive been to this casino heaps before, its pretty laxed, defo no usa casino.
HAHAHAHA!!!

Well, I was gonna unload here, but you aren't in the US. Let me tell you what happens here in the US if you walk into a casino's poker room and start passing around business cards to players for online poker.

First thing that happens is that one of the floor men sees you after about 30 seconds and calls security. Then they arrive and take you from the poker room and get your info. Next they tell you that you can't solicit at their casino. Once you think everything's "cool", they tell you you're no longer welcome in their casino - that means your banned. If they want to get really hardcore about it, they take your info and you get a restraining order in the mail.

This idea is akin to walking into a McDonald's with a food cart and trying to sell McDonald's customers your food.

If you're going to solicit poker players at a casino in the US, you better do it covertly like you're James Bond on a secret mission. That means getting to know guys at your table and sliding them a business card when they go to the bathroom or when you're taking a smoke break outside the casino.

Again, you have to treat it like a business. One thing I used to do was get to know a few guys at the poker table and then offer to buy them dinner at the buffet. This gave me a chance to sell them. Plus I did more than just hand them a card and ask them to sign up under me.

Once again, I'm not trying to be a DICK, but walking into a casino and passing out freaking business cards to poker players indiscreetly might just be one of the worst ideas I've ever heard and clearly comes from someone with no experience. It's a bad idea that will most likely get you kicked out of a casino and possibly even banned. Do it in the wrong place and you might even catch a beating.....just kidding - maybe.

lol...now another new method kicks in...what else...anymore funny or strange methods?

yea as long as you could get around the SERIOUS security at a casion that would work, the trick would be that u spent more time on each person and werent just handing out business cards left and right

Well folks. Good luck with this one. I went through all the trouble of spending about 4 hours creating autoresponders, html emails, etc. and I can't make the post on craigslist. It won't let me. I tried several variations so I don't know if the word "Poker" is being flagged, etc.
My family actually owns some vacation rentals here in Las Vegas so I was offering a free 3 night stay to the winner of my "poker tournament", which I think would have went pretty well but I just can't post on craigs list. Any ideas where else to post or how to get around this issue would be cool!

your right viva, this is pretty simple, but sometimes we overlook the simple things. How to do this offline:

1. Order 250 free business cards for free from vistaprint.
2. Go to the poker areas of your closest casino and pass around your business cards, aka invites to the poker party.

If you only give 250 out to people who want to come to the 'event' your conversion rate should be real high. Your event could make you 20k :P Imma defo gonna order some more business cards and try this!

Simplicity rocks.

i actually thought of a scene from Casino...where they take you in the back room and smash your right hand with a hammer.

considering the amounts of money involved, such action would be quite reasonable

Aiyo..that is sucks feeling...sorry to hear that...i suggest you might consider other ways of marketing...

For those worried about getting complaints and losing any accrued commissions (ME!) you could just make sure that you pointing them to a real qualifier. That way there is a tournament IF they qualify.

Also while you are at it sign up as an aff with one of those "magic" poker calculators software vendors that has a free trial. You can suggest this also which may help players play more. Give them more confidence to play longer.

And whilst we are at it may as well offer them our daily/weekly email with tips and promo's to other rooms and software, etc.

does it really matter how much he earns ?? must important is can make you some money!

Well...The point is, I can't make a post on CL with this ad. I actually have a legit offer for people and I am telling them they will win a prize (which is a real prize). I can't even make the post. Anyone know of any script or software that will allow me to post something that is already posted? I am now guessing it's a problem of "Same ad posted in last 48 hours" deal, even though I tried about 5 different variations. Thanks!

there are many tricks to posting CL ads, although recently CL has been changing things and making it harder to get ads to stick, there are still some things you can do. Im actually writing an ebook, (have 95% done, just keep putting of the last 5%) that discusses another craigslist method of mine, and some tricks on getting ads to stick. I think Im probally just gonna give it to BHW for free, I havent decided yet.

I am still using the same account today as I was back then, and have never gotten in trouble. If you want, tell them to play in one of the many free tournaments that are part of the poker room and to report back to you with whatever position they finished in. No matter what tell them thanks but that they didnt qualify for the other tourney.

Exactly, or just politely reply with "We're sorry, but all the tournament seats have been filled. We appreciate your response, and we will keep you posted on further events being held in the near future."

Nice and simple.. no one gets mad, no harm done...
