Hey so here is a quick method, im sorry if this is brief its 5:07 am here and I need to sleep soon.

Go to Cragslist and make a event posting.

Say you are running a poker tournament with no fee entry and a $100,000 prize pool. And that people should email you for more information.

When you get the emails tell them that there is a preliminary tournament being held in an online poker room, and that everyone must participate in it to enter into the real life tournament.

Send them your affiliate link to whatever poker room or casino you want. Most places will give you $100+ for sign ups.

I dont do this anymore but, its not hard to get a couple sign ups a day for $100-$200 a day, for just the work of posting. Or no work at all if you outsource the posting.

Which affiliate networks did you used to use? Have any recommendations? Sorry, not trying to steal all your ideas, just have a few other poker ideas at mind as I play twice a week with over 100 poker players that are all on the same network and I think that I may be able to move them somewhere else if setting up a private game.

try pokerstars, or bodog, really any poker affiliate should work, i did pokerstars cause thats what I played on myself.

awesome. its so weird how ppl come up with the same ideas at the same times. i was wanting to promote casino stuff yesterday and today but didnt have any good ideas. this is great!

yea, well I was actually gonna make this into a quick ebook, combined with getting ads to stick and selling it on DP and other stuff. Figured Id atleast just share this with you guys. I do have an ebook that Im almost done with (keep putting of finishing it) that is another craigslist method that used to earn me around the same amount. When Im done with that I think Im just gonna share it for free with BHW also.

after this guys register, they will gonna ask the poker company about the tournament.

No tournament? They will be pissed and complain more- the poker company will wanna find out who's responsible.

I am still using the same account today as I was back then, and have never gotten in trouble. If you want, tell them to play in one of the many free tournaments that are part of the poker room and to report back to you with whatever position they finished in. No matter what tell them thanks but that they didnt qualify for the other tourney.

Hrmm.. event posting.. simple yet.. not thought of, at least by me. I've never really tried to think outside the box with Craigslist and never really tried to promote on it heavily.

Tomorrow I'm going to take a little venture into this and try it with a few different "event" types of offers. Thanks for the idea.

K, great idea... So i'm checking out affilitates and i'm down to bodog and pokerstars.

Bodog offers a % cut

Pokerstars offers $$$

Which to choose... which to choose...! I mean if you sign up a whale and get %25 you'll be made in the shade...

Too late, viva. If the info shows on BHW first, somebody will always rephrase the idea, write an ebook/report and start selling it on DP. To make some dough you should first put it on sale at DP. That's it. The BHW peeps will find a way to steal it anyway

Sry about posting twice. It wont let me edit my post again, but I just researched Pokerstarts a bit before I was going to sign up and it says that they group the referrals.

Here is the paystructure:
CPA Plan (Players/Month)
1-24 - $75
25-49 - $110
50-75 - $150
76-99 - $200
100-149 - $225
150-199 - $250
200-249 - $275
250+ - $300

So when you think about it, you might be better off going with a % site like bodog.

Just food for thought.

Sounds like a good idea, but how many people did you actually have stick with the program?... They pay for referrals, but they have to be "active" referrals....

In the TOS, they say that they don't have to pay if the referral isn't active... ??..

I'll try it out if someone can fill me in!!

Dude, you're paid $75 a person for 1-24 people
then $100 PER PERSON for 25-49...

I think you got it wrong
