You can definitely do that. I've had success doing the exact same thing, the problem being that you'll eventually get tired of commenting and want that organic traffic from Google. Even if it's barely ranking, it's something.

Question for the OP or anyone else who's able to answer. Though this method is described as suitable for newbies (like me), after reading through page after page of replies the image I'm getting is that you in fact need to be very good at various skills (marketing, psychology, web design, writing, etc.) to succeed at this which either means it's actually suitable either for those already with experience or newbies who are just naturals at it. In other words, not newbies like me. I'm willing to try it anyway but I do not consider myself good at all with persuading people to part with their money, either in speech or in writing. I've never made a professional-looking website. And these weaknesses are especially compounded when the subject matter is something I'm not particularly passionate or knowledgeable about, which is what most of these profitable niches appear to be (e.g. the cliche 'weight loss' field. I don't know anything about weight loss products.)
So, my question is, is this really something that a newbie who's not the world's top salesman nor product ad writer can succeed at? Or should I not bother and try other methods instead?

You just wrote something that was coherant, readable and had valid points.
Since being able to write in that way is the basis of IM, I think you'll do just fine.
I think this method is an excellent way to understand the basic ins and outs of internet marketing. It is definitely overwhelming and feels like chaos when you dive into this method and realize or internalize all the different aspects of not only producing a simple product review but also ways of getting it out there and ways to make the user want to buy through your link, etc. I don't think you really need to be an expert here. Creativity and thinking out the box goes a long way, but so does following proven models as well.
There can be a lot of problems with overthinking or not thinking enough, etc., but like I said I think it's a good introduction and these are obstacles to be understood, mastered and defeated. That's how I look at it.

Well, looks like I picked the wrong niche. I was trying to find a niche that I was passionate about suggested by the updated guide, so I wouldn't get bored of it. I choose the computer/software niche.
It appears for clickbank at least, it's kind of a worthless niche. The vendors don't answer emails. And another thread located on this forum said don't pick the software niche, because people go for the cracked versions of software.) <--- I don't know how I missed that.
It appears making a website even with a wordpress template is a lot harder than I thought. Even watching step by step tutorials on youtube on how to make a website. I didn't like the home page for one of them. Responsive seems to have an unappealing home page. I want articles to be listed on the home page (not widget buttons) (where is the right side content?). Not sure what theme to use, I have switched back and forth between themes, and some how something gets screwed up in wordpress when you do that. Twenty Twelve seems too generic. Even if you get the theme, the home page looks too generic while comparing to other niche websites I looked at. And with these themes, you can't modify the home page in customization mode to make more appealing menus, etc to add uniqueness. I don't know how people saying setting up the website is the easy part. The only thing I'm good at is writing the articles and using a wp built in review plugin, and writing somethings about the product, and inserting real pictures. I know there is been suggestions throughout the thread. Perhaps I'm still not using the right one. If it's an over complicated theme, then I don't know how to use it. Maybe I can get some advice for this. I need appealing right side content. And making a home page that's at least appealing
Maybe I should have used the twenty twelve theme. Picked a health niche product, copied a website. And I wouldn't be in such a mess. I'm probably going to have to register another domain. This is really bad, I'm going to risk DMCA and unappealing websites.

This method is for newbies in the sense that it doesn't cost anything and anyone can do it
as long as they apply themselves. If you can sit down and read all 104 pages of this thread
and absorb what you've read, then you could definitely succeed with this method.

Hi, I hope this is not something that was asked over and over and over again in the thread. However, I was wondering if anyone could consider me any good niches for this. I mean I'm interested in video games and i know somewhat a bit of how sports betting sites works. I was thinking of going for those niches, and originally the weight loss/fitness/beauty niche. Hoewever i've heard that it's somewhat saturated. I've also noticed someone posting a few dozen ideas for niches, but they didn't really seem to appeal to me. If anyone could pm me for help or something, i'd be super grateful!
Method looks solid to start with. I was wondering if this would still work if I wanted to create an Amazon website? Where I write reviews and get traffic to amazon and get that extra cookie. Or is Clickbank products a better place to start with for a beginner?

Somewhere in the thread meathead advocated clickbank over amazon because the payout for conversions is better.

Just try and find out yourself. There are a lot of high paying free trial CPA offers there.

You can find one on offervault.com MaxBounty also had one but the offer expired as far as I remember.
You can also look for some reputable eCig manufacturers and the majority of them have affiliate programs. CPA offers are not very stable they may expire anytime, you can stick to affiliate programs if manage to run a successful campaign.
IMHO, It would be smarter to test the niche in the beginning (find out if you can drive traffic with small tests) and then decide, optimize the website or not.
When you optimize web-site properly it will deff give better results in terms of traffic too if you make posts on blogs, where comments are being moderated (the approval rate must be higher when linking to nice, legit looking web-sites).

Is that automatically noticed by Google when you make comments or are people moderating legit looking at your website?
Also, another question not particularly addressed at you but to anyone who knows. What are the rules regarding copying and pasting articles from news sources /informative sites/ educational ones? Ive seen sites completely dedicated to just hosting articles written by other people. Is that illegal or can you put a snippet from the direct source?
I understand not taking like a photographers work but I don't understand the rules on info released on public domains
