hey guys does it still work? jk lel.
ive been reading this thread for the past days, i actually used this method to drive few thousands of uniques to my squeeze page but i only played around with youtube. Oh and i automated the whole thing so i was going for quantity not for quality. Since youtube fixed the bug that allowed me to not being ghosted i did not bother it, i was quite busy with freelancing anyways.
I find it hard to set up review sites, because my english is not my first language. Ok, i could outsource, but then i don't know a damn thing about the niche. I guess when it comes to commenting and sharing knowledge that would be shot in the head.
Anyways, i think reviews sites are scamming, because you guys did not even try the product. It's just against my morals, i'm not judging you, keep up the good work.
I will adapt the method but with a way different approach. I will keep going with a squeeze page, i got it already set up so yea. It has a decent conversion rate, but nothing extavagant.
Instead of posting URLs to the squeeze page i will surely go with posting my email address. I think it's waay less spammy to a webmaster. Just think about it: "Go to
www.myreviewpage.com to find more info about the product" or "If you want to chat just send me an email to
[email protected]".
I think many people will even take the effort to type (or hell copy-paste) the domain to their address bar.
Yes, probably i will be getting thousands of spam to the email account, but hey who cares. I will just set up an autoresponder (cpanel-->email-->autoresponder or sth like that) with an email like "Hey, thanks for contacting. These douchebags spam the heck out of my email address, so this is just an autogenerated response. Please forward this message to
[email protected].
Thanks, Smith John,
PS: subscribe at my website if you want 100% pure shit in your inbox
http://www.mysqueezepage.com
(of course better wording, you got the idea).
With this method there is no good hosting is required. You can just upload the HTML of the squeeze page to google drive and mask the domain to that url. Of course you will need a reliable autoresponder service like aweber or getresponse. You can host infiniteresponder on your own server, but i don't recommend it. (lower inbox rate)
Few more things i was thinking of:
1. If you got the capital already, you can outsource the website building. There are guys on bhw who build you ready-to-promote clickbank wordpresses for like $100-200. I think it worths if you are not confident with your content and website building skills.
2. I consider renting reputed forum member's signature or even buying their account (it's kinda risky since moderators may notice the ip/sig change). These guys are mostly average joes who don't know you will be banking with like 300% ROI "outsourcing the traffic".
These were my 2 cents, i hope everybody doin well
EDIT: And i totally forgot to say thank you for meathead for this pure gold method. So Thank You, meathead1234.
EDIT2: If i were a total newbie who did not make a cent online i would 100% avoid logging into my CB account for at least 2 weeks. It can be quite discouraging not seeing results like many of you did. Also it just wastes your time constantly analysing the data (even if you get any hops in the first days).
Set up your site and keep posting daily a few hours, i'm sure if you read the thread and did exactly what the others suggested, you will see hops and even sales after a week.
