I started working on the other domain, completely different niche, got a good article from the vendors affiliate site, and started to post.
There were more results, but I didn't had the time to make many posts, but my comments improved significantly, I just felt more comfortable and inspired
about the subject. And what happened was, that I had a sale within the 20 min of my first post, with only 3 hoops. Amazing, but I am a bit skeptical,
considering the experience with my first sale. The odd thing that I noticed about that first sale with the first product, is that I had a sale without a order form server call, and after google and clickbank FAQ, I found out that that happens only with re-bills and up-sales, so what gives? And the sale ended up as a refund. What worries me is that it also happened with the second product. So I'm just not gonna get to excited about that sale. Could it bee that vendors are faking those fast first sales, to make affiliates work harder and give them hope about the product?
All that aside, at this point I have 50$ net, and that is not that bad, with such low number of visitors, and hoops, and will keep going and try to get more and more posts every day, and to give more quality to them. I believe that the method works, you just need to find the right niche and products and be patient.

First off, I would like to say well done to you, you are taking action which puts you in the top 10% of people here already.

Secondly, don't take any notice of order form impressions/server calls. I have many sales every day which do not register a server call and none are rebills.

And lastly, if you have picked a quality product (which I think you have), it is unlikely that it will be refunded. ;)

i need some ones help here .I picked upa product on cellulite.the sales page of the proct is a vedio and iam not seeing any call for ordering the product.can some one explain to me the working of this sales page

You usually won't get a call to action (order button) on a video sales page until 75-80% of the video has been played, then it will appear underneath.

Positive. Vendors understand that the best way to make a sale is to force visitors to hear their "pitch" before giving them a chance to order or providing a call to action.

On split-testing my product for instance, I found having an order button at the top of the page actually decreased conversions and time on page, and increased bounce rates. For these reasons you will find that any vendors who have split tested their sales page, will only have an order button at the bottom of the page, or one that appears only after a video has been played to the point of the price being mentioned.

Dumb Question, but i am working on one of my other sites.. Does anyone know if people will click "Read more" on each story.. or am i better off having the whole review show on the first page without clicking anything?

Have snippets with "read more". If for no other reason than to decrease bounce rates, which the G algo takes into consideration for ranking.
 
I've lurked here for years, this is the first time I've ever felt it necessary to create an account and post.

I spent 7 hours last night reading this entire thread, taking notes, reading the article on FE International, taking notes, then rereading all of Meathead's and Freddyjames' posts, and taking notes. :)

This seems like an excellent method for a beginner like me to make money, which is good since this is the second attempt I've made at CB. The first one was marked by bad YT videos, ugly blogs, and direct linking to affiliate pages (Oh, and $40 wasted on Fbook ads!). What you guys have said, that going out and doing is the best way to learn is too true, and after that first experience and the small novel of information that I read last night I think I have a real chance of some sort of success with this method. I've got 10hours of free time ahead of me and this thread + the article on Meathead's site + my notes open and sitting right here and I'm going to try my damnedest to implement this method. I'm pissed that my first attempt never worked, and I'm going to right that wrong. I am going to update this thread if anything worthwhile comes of this, and I sincerely I'm posting here in a few days, possibly with some info that could help others. :cool:

I've been lurking and reading this forum for a while now. To keep it short, I'm desperate to make some money online. I can't say much but my family is in some serious trouble financially and I really need some side cash besides my full time jobs.

Is there anyone here that could mentor me or take me under their wing to show me the ropes? Thank you!! I really appreciate it.

Question however, can someone show me an example of one of these review sites? I don't want to copy I just want to get a feel for how these things should look like.

You won't get spoon-fed like that here, however what you will get is advice.

For instance, look at the CB marketplace and pick a few of the popular products you like the look of - then head over to Google and search "theproductyouliked review" - you will find plenty of review sites that you can get inspiration from. My advice is pick a theme that looks clean, something white on black or vice-cersa.
 
Got it thanks. As far as domain and hosting, what do you guys recommend? Is GoDaddy okay? How much should I be spending for a hosting account/domain?

I use namecheap for domain names and hostgator for hosting, but it's personal preference really.

Does it actually work? If you don't mind asking, how much do you earn on a weekly basis? I just want to be sure it's worth the initial investment and my time, because I do want to take this seriously and work hard at it.


Also ONE more question, if I register my own domain but use a hosting service like Weebly, is it as effective?

I suggest you read the whole thread buddy, and make up your own mind. This question has been asked so many times that to be honest, I'm getting fed up of answering it (no offence).

As for weebly, forget it. Pay for your hosting. Pay for a month at a time if money is tight.

It will never work for you even if it works for others , if you continue on thinking this way.
 
I just finished setting up my website and putting up some content. Google Analytics is being annoying, so I am going to finish that part up tomorrow. However since everything that a visitor sees on the site is fine, I'm going to promote for an hour or two before bed. That took forever, but next time I do it I'll be five times as fast, so It's definitely worth it. Hope I get at least some hops, I don't even care about making a sale tonight, but hops would be nice so I could know for sure that my site works.
