Ps. A gold thread like this deserve to be read from page 1 to end , 2-3 hour of reading and educating can only benefit yourself![]()
Method does work. I've made some money answering alerts and sending them to my sites. Problem seems to be that I have around 300 keywords and I have to manually scan all the alerts to find suitable places to post and seem to be getting banned on the best forums because they really hate having their sales stolen with my affiliate links. Any of you guys have any short cuts or anything? this tends to be really time consuming and isn't equaling out to time vrs profit.
For some reason I am receiving very few alerts since last few months. I did some research and found that a lot of people are complaining that Google Alerts aren't working for them either. Here is an article that I came across today
Meathead1234, how do we use this method to its full potential when Google is not sending alerts our way?

Thanks, Meathead.
I built a weight loss review site before reading all of this thread. hurp durp. At least I got wordpress set up.
I'll select a new niche based on perceived number of motivated buyers and based on how un-spammy/non-commercial I can make my posts and review site look.
Some general observations:
What's so hard about following instructions, people? You've been given a business system that works. Any changes to it are more likely than not going to make it WORSE.
Why on earth would you ask about using free web hosting? A domain is $10 and hosting is $8. Try starting any other business for less than $18. You'll probably spend that much driving to and from work this week. I've spent thousands marketing other businesses that didn't give me the returns I wanted and were a TON of work. $50 is NOTHING. $100 is NOTHING. Your return on investment here is probably somewhere between 500% and infinity.
Follow instructions. Use the search feature to find and read (only) meathead's posts and take notes.
Do what works. Don't change anything. Don't add anything. Don't add "twists".
The writer sounds like an old-school MLM huckster ("trust this system and just duplicate it, it will never fail!"). This is BHW. All methods and concepts, no matter how good, are subject to tweaking and twisting, to keep them fresh and currently working. Since this great method was described in this thread, several new issues have had to be addressed, such as the lessening of effectiveness of Google Alerts for many people, as noted a few posts earlier.
Some of us are making this technique work with free hosting or no-cost domains, it's just a fact, and follow the 'Rich dad' Kiyosakian concept of structurally staying away from committing to a liability, or coming out of pocket to build wealth. Be it $100 or $100000, the principle is the same--don't needlessly put yourself on the hook for a guaranteed cash drain, until the asset is actually delivering for you, to cover the liability (i.e., pay from profits, not from pocket).
Paying for urls/hosting is a peripheral issue anyway, the gold of the technique is using a free service to automate the retrieval of new related info on a niche, in order to both reach targeted people today, and naturally build relevant backlinks to one's site. That is the core general instruction to pay attention to, the rest is just secondary banter.
