Easy $100 A Day - Perfect For Noobs

I registered here in BHW a few months ago and finally took action, after reading the whole Thread. This is my first project ever in Internet Marketing. Ath the moment I am busy creating the website (my first page, my first articles) and I am really insecure, if I am doing a good job so far. I would feel much better if one of the guys having success would like to review my effort so far.

anyone here, who wants to review my webpage at this stage?

Awesome guide Meathead, and lots of great input from other participants in this thread!

One thing I'm wondering, some of you guys talk about basically copying other sites articles and post them on your own reviews sites... is this legal? I would automatically assume that if I more or less copy & pasted a game review from IGN to my own reviews site, that there could be legal consequences? Am I missing something here?

I figure that at the very least one should either re-write or spin other sites product reviews in order to stay safe from any copyright issues.

Please correct me if I'm wrong though! It would definitely be a lot easier if you could just pick a niche and then copy & paste amazon reviews on your niche site heh :cool:

If u happened to read fukien post.

Use copied content first. When you make money, then you pay professional writer to write the content. Replace the copied one and go legal.

You didn't tell me anything new, I asked about the legality of copy pasting reviews. I get the point of hiring writers later, but what about the mean time, why shouldn't it cause any problems just because you only plan to do it in the beginning?

Of course, if you don't index your site, then I can see how chances of getting caught are slim.

I'm gonna re-write content anyways, better safe.

if you got some capital, yes hire writer do that in the beginning. But if you start with zero, copy paste article and hide from search engine bots, as you said the chance are slim. About legal rights depending on your country, I don't know about that, All I know my country is counted super safe.
 
Hey how do you do your niche/keyword research? I have been thinking about doing this kind of site, but I want to make sure i do the research properly. What affiliate network do you reccomend? I have heard that generally amazon has higher conversion rates the clickbank. Should I have like lets say an "ebook review site" for a given clickbank niche, or a more general niche where i can put affiliate links for amazon?

Anyone else having a hard time doing a 'non-professional' website for your reviews? It might sound ridiculous but I design websites for a living and I think that works against me sometimes...

Have many of you guys seriously had significantly more success doing 1-page amateurish review pages, than 2-3 page more pro (company like) looking pages?

I think I'm completely overdoing this, focusing on making the site looking attractive, instead of just putting up a near blank design with a review & plenty of links. It's just because I personally would never click on anything from a ugly /amateurish page, but that doesn't mean others won't. I think that's an important lesson to learn, and I still haven't mastered it myself.
 
Just because the content is more personal, doesnt mean the site has to look "blank" and amateurish. The site can still look professional(even if it is a blog style review site). I just think the personal content is better, as it looks like a you are genuinely trying to help the visitor, instead of trying to sell or promote something.

This is a good point. When you design a site with more personal content, people can/might relate more to the average joe, sharing his experiences than they would with professional and (sometimes) sterile reviews. As pointed out, personal does not equal amateurish :)
 
For people who are considering using Amazon's affiliate program, remember this: While on the surface you only get paid small percentage commissions for sold products, you ALSO get money from other products people buy on Amazon, products that doesn't have to have anything to do with the one you referred them to.

Amazon is a huge marketplace, and you can be sure that most people are buying more than 1 product at a time when they shop there. Also, getting 7% on a product that costs $2000 (diamond ring, flat screen's etc) is $140 in commission.

The point is, that one referral can get you commissions from several products, and don't quite me on this, but I believe that once you have referred someone, the referral stays in their cookies for 30 days (or is it more), meaning that you could potientially earn money for a long time from just 1 person who clicks through your link.

I learned this last year when I took a course from an Internet Marketer, the one and only course so far that has actually made me money.
I know this method will make me money as well, I just signed up for clickbank, registered a niche domain, and put up a couple of reviews! :)

bought a domain, hosted, and now I'm looking for a good wordpress theme - anyone has good suggestions for a review page theme; I have no problem to pay for it ;)
 
ok I've found a wp theme and my domain is set up. I've chosen 3 niches (somewhat related to each other) with 4-6 products each. I'm writing my reviews now - thanks to fukien - I have a great template for it :)

Amazon cookies are only for 24 hours so they would have to buy that TV within that time frame for you to get commission.
