I can help with that. The difference is simple when using something like Google adwords keyword tool it is Phrase and Exact Keywords.

Like the concept, can be apply to other methods too.

Just giving this a heads up, it's the perfect way for any noob to start IM. DOing IM for +- 6 weeks now, got 0,05$ with adfly, 3$ with adsense, 8$ with fiverr but a nice 50$ with this method (with only +-15 visitors a day). Now I'm working on getting more visitors, with the forum posts ranking and buying backlinks, (now about 40+ a day and rising) to my review site so I hopefully get more sells too. I tweaked this a little and edited a wp theme into an awesome all-in review template. When i receive my first clickbank payment, i'll make a guide on how I did eveything form 0$ to my first payment and share the review theme.

I think the weight loss and fitness niche is already quite full of products being pushed and advertised, so maybe these forums have a policy of deleting most (if not all) links that people post, because they are so often subtle advertisements.

I'm only replying to this because I don't want other newbies to IM to get discouraged from statements like these. I still consider myself new and somewhat unsuccessful at IM. I've tried a lot of different methods, Meathead's has been the most profitable for me. More importantly, learned a lot of the basics of building a wordpress site that it was my first.

This method isn't going to work in every niche. If you pick something like weight lost or dating, you're creating more work for yourself. Those niches have been spammed to death for years. You're going to have to at least put some thought into your target audience. I went with a small subniche in online gaming, which has it's own drawbacks but it worked for me for relatively little work. My site only had 4 product reviews, and I posted on about 10-15 forums. Some I got my links removed, some I was banned, and some stuck. You just have to adjust and keep trying. There's always other free sources of targeted traffic also that you can try as well.

That the niche I went with was based around a game release, it has died down quite a bit. I haven't promoted the site in at least 4 months. I just logged into Clickbank to give how much money I've made from meatheads method, and I have $43 in sales this week, which brings the total amount I've earned to $665. Not a huge sum of money or anything, but plenty to cover hosting and to play around with some other methods.

This method does work, but it's up to you to make it work for you. What meathead gives and explains is pretty much a basic outline of a review affiliate site, it's not new and is used by tons of people online to make money. All you need is the targeted traffic, which meathead gives you an example of how to get some at no cost but your time.

Is it a good idea to directly link my blog to xrumer or scarpebox links? will my blog get blacklisted or something.

BTW its around 3 years old, and its a blogger blog.

I don't want them to get discouraged after wasting numerous hours on a method that isn't going to work 95% of the time if followed as laid out in the original post.

I still consider myself new and somewhat unsuccessful at IM. I've tried a lot of different methods, Meathead's has been the most profitable for me.

And yet, apparently, you aren't even doing it any longer. I don't blame you. The return on this method is horrible. If it were an easy way to $100 a day, you'd still be doing it.

Nope. Nothing to do with it. I did not choose overly saturated niches. You guys are wrong once again. Only person who makes any sense is xblade.

And to Darkrocker, I wasn't praising you. Good gosh. I understand you didn't win the lottery. I was just pointing out that you seem to be the only one reporting back your winnings. The other people who've reported back already seemed to know what they were doing.

MeetHead Thanks again for the great tips. Spinach good luck with figuring this out and getting it to work for you. Use trial and error and keep trying and you will find a Niche and System that works for you.

Regarding domain names, I am thinking a EMD would be good, but I was thinking it might look better if I just used a general domain like bestreviews as apposed to something more spammy looking that had an the whole keyword in it like say howtopickniceshoes??

also if I used a more generic name like bestreviews if the niche did not work I could just rip down the content and start with a new product. with the EMD i would be loosing money if it did not work out, i know it's not much, but it is when you don't have alot like me.

What do people think is having EMD or having the keywords in the domain name important for this method?

just thinking with a few general domain names i could easily rebrand them quickly if they are not working

I was completely noob when i started with this too and i posted my earnings as well. Now it's been 8 weeks, and i earned 60$. I know a thing or 2 about SEO and i get about 150 UV per day. However i only sold 1 product. At the start i only got 15 UV's a day, but sold 3 products. thing is that my organic traffic isn't as targeted as the 15 UV's that came over from forums and blogs. So it's important to keep posting/blogging. I'll restart doing that soon and hope i get more sells again.

The OP has a solid strategy for getting started with review sites. One thing I would add to #6 is the importance of valuable and interesting comments on other blogs and sites. Just dropping a link will get any site author ignored or even flagged as a spammer. The point of comment forms is to start and add to a conversation about a specific niche. The trick is to work in a referral to the specific product so that it sounds natural to other readers. As long as anyone follows these basic steps and does nothing to get slapped by Google, this method is basically idiot-proof.

So where is your free guide to help people make money?

I was just thinking about this method and came up with a potential twist. Instead of directing people straight to review blog or anything, you could send them to your Youtube video/channel. I think many blog owners/forum mods would be okay with that UNLESS it is a review-type of video.

I would make the video more like "So you have this X problem. There are few reasons why this exists and here are few simple steps you can use to solve it: ...". Then at the end of the video you would have Call-To-Action encouraging people to visit your website (and remember to put the link to the description). Oh, and dont say that the video is yours.

Benefits of this twist:
- Comments are more likely to be accepted.
- You get views to your video.
- You get backlinks to your video.
- Only interested people continue from your video to your site -> should have pretty high conversions.

I will definitely try this twist during the weekend. Just thought to share it with you guys if someone else wants to try it.

Also does it drive a lot of traffic? It seems like you'd have to put in a lot of time posting to blogs and forums (and your comment might not even pass moderation).

This method isn't affected at all by the Google updates, that's the whole point of it.

99% of posts will bring you hardly any traffic. Worst case, you just get a backlink. Some posts will bring you a ton of traffic - so you just got to keep at it.
