Google Alerts not working for you? Try these alternatives:
http://www.socialmention.com/
http://www.gigaalert.com/
http://alerts.yahoo.com/
Social Mention in particular is a Gem... :'D
Also, remember to enclose your keywords in "quotes" for more relevant results... KUDOS! =D

No sales yet. I'm using CJ and Adsense. Maybe I should try to build back links? I have great articles with rich unique content but I'm not sure how to increase traffic. I'm only at about 300-400 a day.

Alerts does seem to be a bit naf. I've set up about 20 and all i seem to get is ancient discussions or yahoo answers ones. What setting should I use for best results? I have it on discussions? and set to only the best results. Should I create ones for blogs too?

Thanks for the input arsehole (always one in every forum ain't there...seems to be the rule). I have a website set up, in fact I spent three days on it. Its glowing with clickbank products and nice reviews. So I doubt its me not understanding steps 1-5 you t1t.
Calm down friend, PM a link to your website and I'll look it over, I'm by no means an expert but I've had huge success with this method.

So I am very interested in using this strategy for my first attempt at IM. This thread is several weeks old by now, and I was wondering how everyone is doing with this. Anyone care to report to the community? Also, would Clickbank or Amazon work better for this? I like the higher earnings with Clickbank but all the products just seem so sleazy lol

Blogger or sites with .co.cc or .info tld's just look cheap and amateur imo. If you have gone to the trouble of setting alerts up and doing all the leg work you really have to make sure your site is able to convert otherwise your pissing in the wind!.
