After following along on here for more than a year or so I figured it was about time to start posting.

I run an ad/marketing agency out of Atlanta, GA and have 8 employees currently. Always love coming on the site reading and seeing new ideas for how to approach pretty much anything that has to do with the Internet and social media.

Looking forward to adding some insight and helpful conversation down the road.

    Thanks!

So you're from the East Coast of America.... I'm from the East Coast of England... We are practically related! Ha

Welcome, tell me more about your ad/marketing agency?

Haha - You've got to find similarities when you can!

Our main focus right now is sports marketing/sponsorships and brand management. We handle the generation and growth of sponsorships, B2B and B2C deals, along with consultation and management for our various brands and athletes.

It has its pro's and con's. Most of the work that we take on is commission based so it really drives a hustle into our group to meet expectations and over-deliver. It's always a month to month basis, can never let your guard down or be too careful.

Very interesting, do you have clients worldwide? or are you just working in and around the east coast?

Right now just here in the states. Some of our clients have involvement in worldwide activities but we outsource most of that work at this point. Hopefully down the road we'll be able to handle growth that will lead to doing more across the sea.

Great to here man. Maybe write a short story about how you started? It could help get your name out for the quick start.

Thanks dude - appreciate that. Will reach out to you soon.

T x J - I've actually thought about doing that / starting up a blog just sharing my business experiences and opinions. It's a fine line to keep up your presence online in a positive manner when you represent a lot of people and keep everyone happy. Haven't quite figured out yet how I want to approach it.

    PVAexpert - Likewise!

HopeAndGlory - Haha! I stil laugh about a seminar I attended in New York a few years ago. It was an invite only event, but there was no charge for attendance to the program. Before the speaker began, he said if anyone was not pleased with him, or the event - just to tell one of the volunteers you wanted your money back on the way out the door!
