this obviously won't apply to crypto's like bitcoin and litecoin, but is a quick and easy way to grab a few of the speculative kinda ones like dogecoin etc.

Rather than fucking around buying bitcoin and then trading it for them simply go to ebay.

Sure you'll pay a 50-100% premium for doing so, but you're not doing this to cash out when you double your money. On todays prices 10,000 dogecoin is $7.34. I'm not going to care if I paid $12.50 on ebay if they ever go up to 10 cents each, let alone $1!

Or you could register at a couple of websites, click on confirmation emails, send ID, wait for a day or two, buy bitcoins, wait, trade.... (maybe not exactly how it happens, just what it sounded like to me:))

Gotta be careful with this kind of stuff especially cryptocurrencies right now they're very volatile and most depend on bitcoin to be strong. With current trends its gonna be a long time before doge hits the 1$ mark, if it ever does.

Ebay transactions tend to go okay as they have a good trusted seller system,
personally however I can't justify paying the premium prices. If your not a miner
then I think it's worth the trouble of verifying your information on a real exchange
like cryptsy or btce

Agree with you. Buying bitcoin is the best option. If you have enough capital, buy some bitcoin and wait. When the price arise sell it.

First of all: do your research first and don't panic buy or panic sell. The Altcoin game is a very volatile market and 90% drops and 200% gains in a couple of hours is not uncommon.
I have a friend who sells cryptocoins through ebay/Paypal and that goes well.
He is focused on Pandacoin (and as am I because I'm part of that development team) and you can buy them with paypal here: http://www.buypnd.com/ there are obvious limitations because it's Paypal so you can only buy a limited amount.

You can also buy for example Dogecoin with Paypal ( https://weselldoges.com/ ). But well just look at the graph of value of Doge and that should say enough.

The OP was not talking about risk or which coin is better. Its just a simple and nice
way to purchase what you want.

Is it SAFE to use paypal at these sites? It`s against PP TOS. I`m looking to buy some small amounts of these too, but want to avoid pp payments. Debit cart will be better.

These sites have been around for a while, but like I said: you can only buy small amounts. I've used them quite a lot because I was tired of buying bitcoin, waiting for banktransfer to arrive, then transfer bitcoin and then buy altcoins.

You really shouldn't be buying any altcoin if your intention isn't to profit from short-term trading. There are several exchanges: bittrex, mintpal, cryptsy etc
