Except for the huge tariffs you will pay for bringing gold into the country.... I could see it work.

You would probably lose money with the fluctuation of the gold market if you don't know what you're doing.

Plus, I hate to get all smart on ya here... but, do you have any idea of the amount of gold you would have to buy to even make a one dollar difference at 1600 dollars an ounce? You would have to have millions of dollars of cash set aside, and then you'd need a freighter....

Hmmm... so this should work for weight loss too if it's reversed...right? Weigh yourself in Alaska --> get on an airplane and head to South America --> weigh yourself again and you should have technically lost weight?

I went to Alaska carrying my gold on the back of a sled pulled by my Husky pals. And indeed my gold did weigh more in Alaska but they paid me in Baby Seal Fur, which i transported back to America and sold to the fashion industry. But unfortunately the weight of the Baby Seal Fur was less in America, so I subsequently lost money on the deal ;p
