Easier to drop a link in a comment?

Do you think it’s easier to spread links on reddit using a comment rather than a post?

I’m planning to start a campaign where I post a video of the product I’m selling, but the video will not include a link and it won’t see like a promotion. I will then use a second reddit account to comment with a link to the sales page (in a seemingly causal, non-sales related way)

I employ both tactics of sharing links on Reddit via comments and posts. However, posts are more noticeable and interactive.

spreading links on the comment section worked for me better than post links. however, in most subreddits they don't allow posting links on the comment section

Both are valid, for posts you have to ensure the link fits the subreddit in quesiton, else the moderators will remove your post and you risk being banned. For comments, you have a bit more freedom, you can even create a fake conversation between two accounts resulting in a link in the end.
