Earning with Photos? Need help.

Hey.. My sister has been taking a lot of pictures for a while now, and we have been traveling to some exotic countries.. So I was thinking that there must be a way to earn some small profit from all these pictures. She literally has 10k+ pictures, all originals and not distributed anywhere, and some of them are quite good.. So what's the best way to earn some amount of cash from them? I saw a site not too long ago that pays you a little bit per picture and they gain all right to distribute them or something like that, but I'm not really sure.. I also forgot the URL. But does anyone know of anything like that?

Help is greatly appreciated

If the pictures are good, you can earn good money from it- but it's much work with 10k pictures- and most companies will only buy perfect pictures. Look here for the beginning: fotolia.com

Both of these will list photos for you. You get a cut of any sales. Be aware that their standards are very, very high! I get some of my best photos rejected by these guys. Not because the photos are 'crap', but because the photos need to meet certain requirements.

Learn what a 'stock photo' is, and find out if your sisters photos meet the requirements. If so - there's a good chance she could make at least a little money from them.

Thanks guys.. She doesn't require much, she'd be happy with pretty much anything

Well, it sure would be a lot of work with 10k pictures to submit each one.. Is there some site where you can just upload them all and they'll pick the best ones and pay you for those?

Generally if you want to make money, then you are going to have to put effort in.

I can't imagine any site going through 10k photos. Imagine the backlog they would have!

Do you mean a site I would make myself, or someone else's? In that case, what's the URL?

You can try www.shareapic.com , it isn't great though.
