Earning in digital-products

Hello, I would like to ask if anyone has experience selling products on Gumroad, etc.? What did you sell, how much did you earn, and is this niche viable for making a living (5k per month)? I have seen many videos on this topic, but I am aware that there are many scammers. In general, could you share your experience and advise whether it is worth exploring?

If you’ve got a solid product, you should set up direct checkout on your own site. Every extra step kills your conversion rate. Gumroad isn’t great unless you already have social proof or people know you. The best play is a proper landing page that converts + enough ad spend. Gumroad’s basically like a brand new Domain.... no backlinks, no SEO = no conversions. Overall, it’s tough to turn Gumroad visitors into paying customers, since you can’t really format the design with proper marketing basics....

Only if you have something to sell. What do you create? I create animation products, ebooks, videos, and character plugins. I don't think your being realistic with $5k. Your a total clueless noob at your stage, its going to take you years to get there. Stick in there though.
