Hi guys,
this is my first post. I've been running a lot of fb pages for the last 5/6 years. My fanbase has grown to more than 4 millions fans. I've created a wordpress blog 3 month ago and it has an average 500k unique per month.
I think that now is the moment to get some money from it, and adsense isn't working (about 10$/day).

What would you do? What should I try?
I want to learn how to make it work, no rush.

Thanks,
G

Nice UV per month! Have you tried looking into promoting affiliate products in related niches?

What are the top countries of your fanpages ? I know people who are earning up to 15k a month with 4 million facebook likes.

How are you only making 10$ a day? What country traffic are you getting and where do you place? your blog will get accepted for adsense alternatives like infolinks and taboola , you should try them and see how it goes for you,,, or another sure way is sell add space on buysellads

thank you for all your replies. i'm italian and so are the fans. i think the problem with adsense stay in the contents of the blog, mostly funny news and image galleries. Each post gets a lot of like/share, and I think it's a good starting point. I've try nothing but adsense and i'm asking your help to do things right from now on.
As I said, i'm not looking for quick cash, i'm looking to build a winning long term strategy

It is possible that your add positions are not optimized. Hence, bad AdSense revenue.

As for what to promote: CPA, travel affiliate programs, concert tickets, paid local business promotion, sell banner positions on your site like buysellads...
That's just to get you thinking.

Is 15.000 USD a month for 4 million fans, as mentioned in an earlier reply, really a good number? To me it seems really low.

With 500K visitor, you easily get approved to any other network
Networks, which are better than adsense
To me adsense is for low traffic sites

I'd strongly advise you use affiliate programs to better yourself rather than relying on pennies a click. Sometimes it's better to go through a separate payment vertical.

Also if you'd prefer mixed monetization streams add Taboola or Content.ad placement options to your site in addition to Adsense / or other affiliate programs.

Thanks for all your advices!
At the moment I'm looking at taboola and similar provider. I should be ready to try those in next weeks
