Hi
How have you been monetising your gaming site? Did you sell any products, just advertising, affiliates etc.
I think the problem is most of the internet has became saturated. Somebody said to invest in a few websites, which is getting more common, rather than making 100k off 1 website its much more pheasable to make 20k off each of 5 micro niche websites.
If you have experience in websites I think you should stick with websites instead of invest in something new.
Ahh I get it, well its good to diversify your income sources. Does it pay a dividend aswell?Specifically I'm looking at a Canadian company that produces oil piping, but their stock value still fluctuates with the oil prices. They have a solid balance sheet, and already have the orders for this year simply working on fulfillment. I see the weak dollar and their stock being brought down by the oil prices as a prime opportunity to make a smart long hold
All on black, double or nothing.
Majority of the traffic is free traffic, and we have fixed a stock issue by finding a new supplier so I am contemplating going more aggressive with CPC. My current strategy leaves a lot on the table CPC wise.@OP, how are you getting traffic?
If most of it comes from free traffic then invest in PPC. Tons of ways to scale your operation if you use paid ads.
I'm not adverse to that, I've just been uninspired lately more then anything else. It would be nice to diversify my portfolio even if it's just a few passion projects. I think right now it would be a good idea to change gears to keep myself engaged.Reinvest in yourself. If you already have an established reputation - leverage that. An industry getting more competitive isn't a reason to quit and move into something else. You've already done most of the hard work.
I've considered property, however 150k doesn't buy a whole lot. I am very debt adverse and would prefer not committing myself to a mortgage. My suggestion is invest in property there are two benefits.
Short term benefit: You will get rent montly from that property.
Long term benefit: You can sell that property after few years when the rate of that property goes up
