I've seen some pins directly link to Amazon products. But typically, you earn by sending traffic to your site and monetizing said traffic. You send traffic to your site by linking your pins to your website.

This makes sense too. Utilizing Pinterest to earn via affiliate links is a nice move. Pinterest can be used to entice clients to purchase.

in 2018 - 2019 pinterest based incomes were blew up ! Some of the Adsense accounts opening 60 different sites totally automated blogs with total spam. They were earning 5-10k USD /mo with full automatic wordpress plugins. After than google & pinterest bring extra cautions and ended this income model. I highly recommend you to make Affiliate marketing don't spam and find the niches. Good luck brother !

Nowadays people use pinterest more than google because of the attractive photos and cachy videos in niche.People can make money out of that,use your own photos or find good ones online. Edit them to look nice. Add affiliate links to products you suggest to earn tasks. Also, include links to your website or blog in your pins to bring in visitors and make money from ads or sales. Consistencyin posting and good content are key.

I totally agree and I'm guilty as charged! I use Pinterest more than Google when searching for a haircut, tattoo, hair color or pretty much anything. And yes, consistency is a big deal as well as enticing content because the competition is tough.

Pinterest is made for affiliate marketing because you can simply include your link in a pin and visitors will be able to click it from your pin.
With social media networks like e.g. Instagram they need to visit your profile etc. but Pinterest makes it really easy to get some clicks and maybe some conversions to your product.

From what I've seen, most people typically generate income on Pinterest by creating and sharing pins that include affiliate links. When someone clicks on one of these links and makes a purchase, the person who shared the pin earns a commission from that sale.
After that all you have to do is continue promoting products or services relevant to their audience's interests.

I doubt so, since you claim Direct share the affiliate link. Even shorten url Pinterest already blacklist as spam because a lot use shorten url to shorten their affiliate links.
