Earn Some Extra Money for Almost doing nothing - Worked for me

Recently i have liked my local city page which has almost 9k likes
Admin daily post city updates , local news , hangout pics ,etc
the page is very active and for every post it is getting upto 120 likes


So i thought of monetizing it ,I asked the admin for a meet in my area
and made a business proposal that let us make some money using Our city page
and i explained my idea


" Then we went to ****** (famous brand shop) and said that we have so an so page in FB with 9k likes


we will promote your shop in our page like dis
-->we will post offer details on every brand that you have
-->and also we take some random pics of some shirts in the shop and match it with celebrity pics (post that pic in fb that shirt which is used by "celebrity name" is available in this shop)
Youth may not watch your local newspaper advertisement but they will be active in fb
blah blah ..


he appreciated and given order ,though amount is less (it depends on city) we go to few more hotels,Fitness centers etc and will get new orders...
Keep in mind that we will rebill every month

Dont flood page with dis ads , page should be active with local news daily,

Damn.. You are doing the same with what I'm doing.
Except that I own the page as well and drive the traffic using FB Ads coupon.

But I have a hard time to convince those business owner to pay for solo ads.
Maybe because my country is still slow in online marketing, and they cannot see the potential.

BTW, I believe food related business maybe the best bet to pitch solo ads since each time I promote local restaurant, I got hundreds of likes and lots of share asking where the location is and sharing their experience about the restaurant.

Hurmm.. maybe I need to find JV partner that can pitch better :/

Right now I am thinking to give free solo ads to business owners who join my mailing list. Later on maybe I can pitch other related stuffs such as webdesign or SEO. But I will hold this to next month since other project need to be done asap.

Except I don't have a facebook page since I don't own a business at all. My town does not have a facebook page and I live in a very small town with mostly trees and woods everywhere you go. There is hardly anyone living here in my town as it is. So what then? How does your plan work for those of us who live in small towns where the town doesn't even own a facebook page? Yes I can offer to make them a facebook page but I know nothing about making facebook page and worse I know absolutely nothing about driving traffic to the page or getting people to like it.
